Not likely. ERCOT's grid has handled Texas heat forever; they're simply covering their bases/asses since their quite public shit-show in February when they were exposed for not being able to handle abnormally cold temperatures. I was here a few years ago when we had a record-setting numbers of days of +100 degree weather, and as yet, I don't see anything near as threatening as that, but if ERCOT wants us to believe the threat is nigh because of reasons... okay; A/C is turned up and bills are paid; their turn to do their job.
