Any achievement that is nerfed if you happen to be cheating and can't ever be achieved again. For instance I accidently picked up the 15 intel brief case in COD4 while I had cheats enabled (weeee! cluster bombs) permanently losing me that achievement even though I now have the achievement for 30 brief cases.

Achievements that aren't skill involved.

Join a server with 6000 people? How does that prove that you accomplished something?

Yes, the point of the Achievements is to show you have enough skill to complete the challenge.Achievements that aren't skill involved just shows you know how to buy a game,and insert it into your 360.
it is not an Achievement,but in Call of Duty 4 I acidently feal down into a hole(I can't think of what its called right now) and two secound later I see " good bye challenge acheived",WOW that was easy!
The Achievement,or in this case challenge,is not worth anything if it is as easy as turning your system on.

The entire lot of the Final Fantasy XI acievements; which require you to max out every class in the game. The problem? The level system is so grotesquely slow, it will require a ridiculous amount of time. Actually a game site calculated just how long it would take; the estimation was nearly two years, yes two years for 1,000 points total and this is with constant 24/7 play. The truly frightening thing is two people in the world thus far actually have all of the achievements.

Beyond that, I personally hate all the tedious online achievements that require you to spend hours playing the game online. Example would be sports game, specifically NHL, I do not like playing online much, thus I cannot collect all the achievements.

I also loathe those inane ones such as "Beat a person who is ranked in the top 50" Seriously? 95% of the time, they cheated to get there *points to NHL 08*

Shoot, beat me to it. Anyway, I have to say Enlightened Guitarist on Guitar Hero 3. Get five stars on every song on expert!? Thats impossible for many!

Score 750,000 points on a song....0,o WTF? I have completed guitar hero on expert and done most extra hard songs and the most I've ever got is 503,000. Enlightened guitarist is possible through some easier songs but 750,000 is only achievable by nearly full comboing the devil went down to georgia or doing well on though the fire and flames.
I suppose they are real achievements though, they are ridiculously hard but the satisfaction for completing them is immense which is really what an achievement is about. Not just something you can get in 5 seconds.

Another way to get 750k is to do really well on Through the Fire and Flames, there's a DLC song that you can get 750k on, but you pretty much have to 100% it to get that high.

On Battlefield 2:Modern Combat (for the 1st xbox) there's an award for getting 30 kills in a row in a single match using a turret on the back of a jeep. The only possible way for this is to cheat if you ask me. If you've played this game you would know how damn near impossible this is to get.

Oooh whats the song? If it's the fanigans ball pack then I don't think thats possible because it's just not got enough notes in the and if it's the devil went down to georgia, an fc is almost impossible.

Spore has a few dumb ones, most are just too easy and only require you to beat the game, but i think the worst is "Front Page News" only because it's something that many will never acheive.

EA allows trial players to 'thumb-up/thumb-down' creations, so of course people are abusing this system and using trial accounts to 'tuumb-down' the competition or just out of spite.

Any acheivement for collecting ANYTHING. Collecting things is not fun!!!
Especially things like shoot 200 pigeons in GTA4 which is practicly impossible without a guide anyway and just tedious.
It doesnt take skill to devote hours to somthing so mundane. Its like an achievment for watching paint dry.

The one from Crash of the Titans where you need to kill yourself 9 times. Seriously, it takes ages cos you can't just walk off a cliff and die, you just respawn with a bit of health knocked off! I found the best way to do that was to just run into some lava until he died...Yeah, I have no life.
