Worst acting or script in a game?

Everything in this. The Japanese games especially. I think that's most of them.

Also, Commandos 3 takes the biscuit for "Worst Irish accent ever".

I swear the voice at number 32 of that list sounds exactly like Tristan from Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abridged Series.

Wow, just wow. The bit from Mega Man 8 was hilarious. The one guy screwed up so many words.

The cutscenes are laughable and the script is full of clichés. Fortunately, I don't expect a story at all in MMO's and even if there is one, I'll pretend it's not there.

That dialogue was horrible. Luckily the combat (Which I still hold is the best so far) made up for it.

But that was so bad that it could just be turned into a source of humour, so it wasn't really a problem.

If memory serves, the old Castlevania games had some dire diaglogue and 'acting'. I was little when I played some of those and remember rolling my eyes it was so overwrought.

Thats because it never had any speech I had it years back, bog standard shooter.

Its just a cracking Engrish game translation which someone tagged a computer speech emulator voice-over onto and came up with the 'All Your Base' fad. Feel free to correct me on this if I missed the game being released on another format that added the speech.

As for worst script or acting I would have to go with something recent, FF13 :/ Some of the dialog was just ridiculous and there's a LOT of it. Although Lightning is possibly my favourite FF character since Shadow on FF3
