Eragon ripped off Star Wars. Not in a "the Doom movie was Resident Evil in space" way, but in a truly shameless, scene for scene way.

It starts with a princess being pursued by an evil empire's forces. Before being cpatured, she sends away something of extreme value. It's found by a farmboy who lives with his uncle. He's not sure if he should get involved. After the empire come looking for it and kill his uncle, he decides to go off with this wise old mentor, who used to fight the empire but put that on hold after they lost the war. They meet an untrustworthy scoundrel they are forced to deal with. They find out the princess is being held captive at the empire fortress and go resuce her, but the mentor is killed...and so on
It's called the "Hero's Journey", which is a basic template to film making. Star Wars followed it to the letter, so did Eragon. Difference being Star Wars was a good movie.

I'm going to say The Grudge 2. I've not seen the first, but the second was possibly the worst movie I've ever seen...and it's a sequel to an adaptation so enjoy.

EDIT: Quoting went horribly, horribly wrong. Is fixed now.
The Grudge and the Grudge 2 are BOTH adaptations to a Japanese horror film and its sequels.

I believe that we can all agree that the two sequels to "The Matrix" should never have been made...

Count me in for The Last Airbender, Dragonball, and Twlight.

When the movie is worse than the book (Twilight), someone was definitely asleep at the switch.
The first two though. They have no excuse. No fucking excuse at all.

Starship Troopers.

If you haven't already - never read the book. You will forever lust for the blood of the director/producer/screenwriter.
While admittley I haven't read the book I quite liked the first starship troopers its number 2 and 3 that are complete and utter shite.

The Seltzer Berg duo that rip,s off EVERYTHING
That is so true. I have friends who praise Vampires Sucks and say its the best parody ever. I just walk away since a discussion would be pointless.

All their movies sucks and are far worse then the movies they are parodying. (Yes Vampires Sucks is even worse then Twillight itself.
I agree! if the ever where to strap me down like Alex in a clockwork orange and make me pick between Twilight or Vampire,s suck I would chose Twilight. These guys need to get their movie maker,s license revoked

Spawn.

Why are people hating on The Asylum? They're meant to be like that, it's done on purpose. If you don't like it, don't watch it, but don't go saying that they are bad when they are clearly doing that on purpose

What about Pathfinder(2007)?
Honur and glory to the first who finds out what it ripped off.
I thought Pathfinder was a remake.
Really I have always been thinking about it as a rip-off.
But after checking about it on wikipedia and imdb, it looks like it is more off a remake than a rip-off, and that Nils Gaup sold the screenplay from the original film to the new one.
It is crap anyway.
