It's funny because I LOVED the first opening for Full Metal Alchemist. The new one for Brotherhood really let me down though.thedevilscousin said:The first opening to the original Full Metal Alchemis, every time i hear that voice i wanna tear my ears out.
Alright, I was bluffing.Smertnik said:Cowboy Bebop
Well this is a matter of opinion, and yes the first Brotherhood was meh, loved the second and third ones though.AgentNein said:It's funny because I LOVED the first opening for Full Metal Alchemist. I think the first 4 Brotherhood openings were all great (maybe not 3 as much). 5 was a big let-down.thedevilscousin said:Well this is a matter of opinion, and yes the first Brotherhood was meh, loved the second and third ones though.AgentNein said:It's funny because I LOVED the first opening for Full Metal Alchemist. Oh wow, my nostalgia is telling me to be happy, but my brain and ears are telling me to throw up.rancher of monsters said:
I don't know if the english dub openings count as well, but if they do I'll say One Piece a thousand times.
You mean you only giggled? I laughed so hard I nearly wet myself.Greyah said:I feel like I should add, I don't quite get why people hate the Lucky Star opening. It fits the anime quite well, and I like the song an aweful lot.
Is it wrong that that video made me giggle like an idiot?anthony87 said:I hunted and came across this:

I meant he sounded tired. And I always thought it was cold drinks that ruined your voice? Hm.SckizoBoy said:Coffee?! Coffee ain't particularly good for the voice. I was going to say that he sounded as though he had a diet of granola and coffee: hot and scratchy... hot and scratchy, try singing with that throat... yeesh.shadyh8er said:Whoa. That guy sounds like he didn't get his coffee this morning!

Unfortunately yes, that is the same show, what irks me more is that they change the openings about half way through the 2nd season when there's like 7 episodes left; It's a lot better than listening to that opening throughout the whole season but still, when you're that close to finishing off your series why change the opening that you've had for 19 episodes? Especially with...That.shadyh8er said:You sure these are from the same show? I mean damn! The first one is hypnotic and haunting and the second is all peppy? I can already tell it's gonna be hard to take that 2nd season seriously.
Uh...is the singer on the Naruto opening telling me to shoot myself? Regardless that opening is pretty bad, the early Dragonball Z opening was bad too, in a cheesy sort of way, however bad that opening is, I don't hate it though. Nostalgia keeps me from hating it, I guess.MrShadowzs said:easy
on a side note worst ending is definitely the first one from Code Geass
really doesn't fit the show at all
I very much prefer the Funimation dub, despite the discordant singing in the original opening [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GPeO5VQmA6c]. The only character that the Tokyopop opening fits is Keisuke... and only at the beginning of the first season... the rest of the drivers (especially Takumi, who, for the sake of the uninitiated, is the main protagonist) don't take the competition nearly that seriously. Even after Takumi gets incredibly serious about racing, he tackles it more the way a student would than the way a fighter would... which was why he was so good at it. He focused more on defeating his bad habits, old records, et cetera, than his opponent.ForgottenPr0digy said:I really like the tokoyo pop dub opening for Initial d but everyone else hates it

You seemed to of posted the same opening twice.SNIPERFOX ft. Harry P.Ness said:Gundam 00 intro. i mean, the song is all happy & all, but here we have gaint mechs beating the shit out of eachother. the intro is good, it just has nothing to do with the anime.

People wanted (INCLUDING ME) The same as the first opening. Smart/ like Kira. The Op2 fits a gore-slaughter fight-anime. I dont think it fits Deathnote.. (Maybe after episode 30 where it stopped being smart but thats not the point)Zechnophobe said:Thematically, Death Note isn't a pretty little show about nice people. Its protagonist is a guy who, when given the power of others lives, decides he will use it to make himself the ruler of a perfect future. Intensity, and anger are the themes that I see. The same feeling of 'holy crap, did that just happen?' that I got at the end of the first episode of Death Note, is epitomized in the raucous second opening of the show.lunncal said:The "music" is just annoying and doesn't seem fit with the mood of the anime at all, and the scenes shown in the intro have almost nothing to do with what happens in the show either. I haven't watched too many animes so I'm not an expert or anything, but as soon as I read the title of the thread this is what jumped to mind.Zechnophobe said:That's... one of the best openings ever. I can understand why some people don't like it, but seriously, I've seen very few anime that had such spectacular openings.Arisato-kun said:I utterly despise this OP.
I also completely disagree with OP's stance on Bleach's 4th Opening. Beat Crusaders is an awesome band.
The moment the intro switched to this was the moment I started skipping it. I saw no need to subject myself to having a really loud and annoying man scream down my ear-hole every time I wanted to watch an episode.
It's Kira's big Fuck You to the world. Oh, and it's good to headbang to. But yeah.
I do understand why some don't like it though, as it is right on the cusp between great metal, and annoying screamer metal, and there are a lot of people who just don't like that kind of music. I love it, but hey, that doesn't mean everyone does.
Sounds almost exactly like the Rozen Maiden openings. I think the main thing it's lacking is;MrShadowzs said:on a side note worst ending is definitely the first one from Code Geass
