I tried Lucky Star once and. I could not get into it. I just did not understand.
Could be because there's no story. I loved that show for some reason. :p
It's a show about nothing. Seinfeld managed to do it.

The Fullmetal Alchemist anime was the reason I stopped watching anime, so I'd probably say that was the worst. Pity since the manga was actually pretty damn cool, but I guess they thought making the anime shit was a better idea?
sorry for the double post but I didn't see this.
It is still one of my favorite anime series ever but I will say that it failed the Fullmetal Alchemist name.
I liked the manga. I read, I think, 40 chapters of it, and it was good. The show started really good as well, and then it started to go downhill. I tried to remain objective, I tried to stay with it, but then it got to that episode that started with Roy contemplating suicide and the glasses dude (name?) talking him out of it in this completely apathetic voice, and I gave up. Way too emo, couldn't handle it, I never looked back. And then I couldn't bring myself to finish the manga either. Yet another example of the anime ruining the manga. :/

That's why I was so happy when they made the real FMA anime last year instead of that filler garbage made by someone other than the original author. Brotherhood is the manga brought to the screen.

Didn't they filed for bankrupcy?
They did? Oh... well good then.
Now they can no longer destroy innocent anime for English kids! ^_^
No, I'm sorry to say they didn't... in fact they still have a Saturday morning cartoon segment on the CW... I know... my brother watches it... he's 20...<.<

Perfect Blue left me with a rather bad taste in my mouth, but that was quite a few years ago now.

That and most meta-series.

....and my good mood is gone, my sadness returned and my urge to kill reborn.

Wow.... that came out more serious than I intended. XD

Mobile Suit Gundam. Was just aweful...
You sir are a damned lier.

But back on topic i usually don't watch or remeber animes if they don't make an at least decent first imperssion. So the only awful animes i can recall are those that butchered once beloved series Dragon ball GT (i tryed so hard to like but after the sixth fething show sepent recapping the three before and talking about shit evern the main charcters did't give a shit about i was done) Gundam wing. it's becausily just shit getting blown up by actual 12 year olds (which may sound like a good premise) but was just so bland, I really can't from aby actual thoughts on it besides Meh(and wing gundam looked sweet)

Years ago I said Eiken.

Nowadays I generalize, and just say any anime that puts fanservice before everything else.

Sailor Moon. Saint Seiya started just after that and so I'd kill time with it. I kinda enjoyed the whole story arc of the lesbians, but other than that the series was kinda meh.

Shuffle! I mean, I'm not sure what I was expecting from and anime based off a hentai game, but still.

Other than that, I'd say Fruits Basket. At first I thought of choosing Air Gear, but at least I laughed a lot at that shows ridiculousness. Fruits Basket was simply a bad show.

To Love-Ru. The amount of character development in that show was equal to the number of Jewish attendees at the most recent Neo-Nazi convention. That combined with weak predictable distractions via fan-service (which was always blocked, not that I'm complaining about being spared from viewing the atrocious animation), I would like to declare it the worst thing ever to scar my brain.

On a lesser note, I watched this thing called The Melody of Oblivion. Thought it had potential, then I was quickly proved wrong. Don't bother with it.

On an even lesser note was Solty Rei. Also fooled into thinking it had potential, lesson learned. It wasn't outright terrible, but it wasn't good.

LAIN, Madlax, She: The Ultimate Weapon and Gantz. All animes that made me want to shoot myself in the face over and over while watching them.

Most anime qualify. I was once given a treasure box (a hard drive) full of anime of all sorts, I guess all it left me is just my love for mecha, and nothing else. Especially all if not most human character in any anime.

I guess I just hate it that most anime just dont go straight to the point.

Otherwise worth mentioning would be : Fooly Cooly (dont even understand the crap out of it), as much as I love mecha I do hate SEED series with a passion, especially DESTINY, also every anime with episodes more than 30 (sequels do not count, and dragon ball is an exception) yes I'm looking at you : Naruto, Bleach, One Piece.

Its been about 3 years since I really got into any anime.

Last anime I watched was : Hotaru no haka (grave of fireflies), and Evangelion 2.2.

Last series: Gundam 00.

Basically if it doesn't feature giant robots, count me out. Oh and I dont like super robots as much. With some exceptions (Damn you SRW series) but I probably only like the mecha, no interest in story whatsoever.

A lot of people were praising 'High school of the dead' so i gave it a shot. It had some good moments but to me it just looked like an excuse to show off some jiggling tits.
Really that's all it was.
Even the director admitted that's the only reason most people will watch it, so that's all he was gonna give em.
The manga was pretty shitty as well.
Which is a shame cuz I was watching it for the whole teenagers in zombie apocalypse thing.(never seen teenagers in a zombie apocalypse as a group)

I mean Ive never seen an anime/manga ever do a story that had zombies as a main thing.

Naruto. Being totally honest and not trolling. Awesome concept, terrible follow through. It also suffered heavily from the DBZ milking every second and then leaving you on a cliffhanger that then the next episode still doesn't finish.

On that note I have indeed seen Shippuden. It takes FOREVER for anything important to happen. 10 episodes in and I was thinking that everything that has occurred, could have occurred in the first three episodes. I just think that if I was waiting for an episode to come out every week I would get fed up with it by then. I mean it is like waiting in line at an amusement park for a really big roller coaster, only to find out that you need to go on these other rides first in a row to get to the really exciting one. And between rides, there are really long lines as well.

Next think I have a problem with is the filler episodes. Now just bearing in mind that I am talking about Naruto and not Shippuden, those are what really ruined the series for me. Those fillers are so bad that it makes every other filler episode ever from anything like the works of Shakespeare.

I would continue but I have not the stamina to proceed in this rant.

QUICK VERSION: I feel Naruto is the worst anime I have ever seen because even though it is really amazingly awesome when it is awesome, finding that is like searching for a needle. In an ocean. Full of horse crap. The size of the Mediterranean Sea.
