Worst/Best Fanart

There are plenty of threads devoted to the best and worst of fan-fiction, so why not focus on something else that's fan-related: fan-art! What's the worst you've ever seen? Alternatively, what's the best? Doesn't matter what of.

Feel free to post it here if you can find it, though please use spoiler tags for larger images and/or questionable content, and don't post anything that's straight up NSFW.

Spoiler: My Personal Worst:

I've seen my fair share of awful MLP fan-art, but this is the one image that sticks out the most in my mind. It's not that the artist isn't talented; he/she obviously is, and no doubt put a lot of work into this. Somewhere along the line, though, things just went horribly, nightmare inducing-ly wrong and we wound up with this abomination. It reminds me of one of those un-tooning pictures [http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/untoons], which is never a good thing.

My god...

The image wouldn't load in the forums so I clicked view image. Why? Damn my curiosity to the most torturous circle of Hell. Thankfully my Mega Drive games were facing the other way or they'd be traumatized too.

As for the one in the OP: I honestly thought (and hoped) I'd never have to look at that one again. The eyes. It's the kind of expression I'd expect to see on the face of a gleefully psychotic murderer as they stand astride a heap of human remains with a bloodied meat cleaver grasped firmly in each hand.

There is good fan art out there, suffice to say that a lot of artists who draw ponies are highly talented, but for every one good image there are dozens of downright weird ones or those like the soulless abomination that will now forever haunt the top of this page.

Well, it's probably not the best fanart I've ever seen, but I do remember being fairly impressed by it, if only for the sheer volume of the image and the fact that they put enough individualization into the 33 (34 if you include the snake) characters to really make it work. Go on. See how many of the characters you can recognize.

I've also come across another similar piece which was focused on Skyward Sword if I recall correctly. I can't find it right now though.

As for bad art, Sonic fan art. It's horrifying.
