I've always found the Canadian Reticulated Silver Back Purple Crested Lumberjack to be a formidable predator.
Their flannel clothing is immune to conventional weapons, their hunger for flapjacks and maple syrup know no bounds, and their axes know not mercy.
A whole pack of them? Tear you apart with the same ferocity with which they attack wood and breakfast.
