Anyone else seen drag me to hell? Does it not just piss you off?! Failing to extend some hobo *****'s mortgage = eternal damnation? Some woman that FUCKING DIED the NEXT DAY? Not to mention all the innocents that get killed or hurt as collateral.Doesn't that strike anyone else as really dissatisfying and stupid?

p.s.-Not accepting "That's the point" as an answer, BTW. The best and most satisfying film ever was Shawshank (in my opinion), and it was exactly because justice was done and the baddies, not the goodies, got their comeuppance.

Agree/disagree? Give reasons.

I tried watching drag me to hell, but I never made it past the 30 minute mark.

Media is filled with unsatisfying endings, from the sopranos end to boss fights in games that had absolutely no oomph.

I guess its all about the relevance to the plot, but in something like Drag me to hell, which was an atypical popcorn horror flick, did you really expect much in the way or revelation?

Them old ladies are just craaaazy broads...

But seriously the girl was nice she didnt deserve the curse.... the old lady kept screwing stuff up on her own self.... and for someone with unhuman powers, couldnt she just get somewhere to live? Hipnotise some fool or something...

And besides i would guess someone that old would be scared of her Chaotic and hellish powers, and would have a little more responsability.... Or i guess the old women was just dying and wanted to have a lil fun before she kicks boots....

Read this title, and the first thing that came to mind was 'Fable II'?

OT: I haven't seen the movie, but maybe put that ENTIRE post in spoiler tags.

I loved "Drag Me to Hell" because it was classic Sam Raimi. Raimi's movies always border on being full out silly and are made for pure entertainment.

The hobo ***** in question is a gypsy who is true to Hollywood/horror lore. She feels wronged and places a curse on the girl. I have no problem with her actions in the confines of a silly horror movie.

I don't agree with movies being good only when the "good guys" win. If the movie is entertaining, well edited, and is well acted with a decent script, I tend to enjoy it. Because of these reasons, I enjoyed "Drag Me to Hell".
