Man where do I begin....lol. Yeh, I love the Assassin's Creed I and II games a lot, but seriously, the first one, the ending seemed like it was unrelated to the rest of the game almost. That was after Yahtzee so adequately describes, " Assassin's are a small part of the game, but I guess 'Faffing About Creed' doesn't have the same ring to it..." Anyway, back to the worst ending bit.
SPOILERS, BUT THEN HOW CAN YOU NOT HAVE FREAKIN' SPOILERS IN THIS THREAD? LOL
With Assasin's II I throughly liked the whole game, but yeh, that final boss fight would've been better if it was AN ASSASSINATION, I swear, I restarted there like 15+ times, b/c my throwing knives and pistol weapon didn't kill him, I thought I was having a glitch.
Force Unleashed is another one I enjoy, but seriously, either you die as a good guy for the Star Wars Movies' plot to work, or you be a jack@ss and basically replace Vader, and losing all your skills LIKE VADER TOO. WTF, so much for a Force Prodigy who kicked the Chosen One/Vader's ass, lol.
Modern Warfare II, amazing game, but I swear before I threw the knife at that jackass I thought it was a repeat of the scene where he betrayed my character and burned my corpse after fighting off 50+ guys in all directions. Cool plot twist ideas, but infuriating. (I think this one can go under the worst deaths forum discussion too, lol)
Finally, God of War III, and as with the others, I see a trend of really good games not being able to end right. Seriously, From start up until I defeated Zeus in the end of the 3rd God of War, I enjoyed it and pretty much beat all three within a week (bought this summer, the PS3 collection and 3rd), but wat was my reward for my efforts, I destroy the entire planet for redemption for Kratos's wife and child? Yeh....... seems like those flashback nightmares would get worse after that even if he "died."
I feel I rambled/or got into my 1 reply a tad much....
