What was your worst first impression, that either you gave or someone you met gave you?

Mine was when i had just started working somewhere and knew that a friend of a friend that i hadnt met worked there. I was using the urinal, i zipped up turned around and he was there so i introduced myself and offered him a handshake. He disheartedly took it and it was only after i left the bathroom that i realized it probly wasnt the best time for a handshake :/

In the 11th grade in the beginning of the school year, I did poorly on the first couple quizzes and forgot my homework a number of times within the first two weeks of class. It was just a bad time for me. Even though I got near perfect marks for the rest of the year, I was labeled as the "incompetent student" by that teacher until I graduated.

Going to keep this short.

In the afternoon my flatmates and I decided to paint a really detailed Superman logo on my chest. Later on we goto the pub to meet up with all their new friends from Uni, this is like a week or two into moving into our new flat.

No ones drunk yet, I'd actually forgotten about the logo and then my flatmates decide to get everyone's attention then point at me saying show us your chest. Would have been fine into the night where that sort of thing is normal, but in a pub where it's just chillin' with people trying to get to know them, it's not so great whacking out a Superman logo through a "poppable" shirt. Plus attempting to change conversation before hand for about 5 minutes just made it even more anti-climatic and more, "oh, he's just fucking weird."

However I've had many much worse but can't recall them for I would have been wasted and only hear about it 2nd hand the day after.

Completely ignoring a (very attractive, smart, funny, amazing :[ ) girl who had purposefully come over to the table I was sitting at, said my name, and then just kinda left because she didn't know what to do.

All because my stupid friend was making me listen to a stupid song he found on the stupid internet. >:[

But I'm not totally socially incompetent, so i fixed it and everyone had a laugh! :D

Sort of. :|

I met my mates boyfriend the other night, he couldnt have made a better first impression. Calling her a whore etc. Just being a shit basically. The guys house who were at ended up flooring him and throwing him out.

They are broken up now :)

The shirts buttons were like poppy ones, so it just ripped open fine. Was hard to not look like it was planned, but yeah, gave it my best heroic pose possible. :)

Would have been fine if timed correctly, the mood of the group was poor. Morale was low and all that. Pulled it back somewhat but some of the people sucked anyway.

Hmmm.... I believe I've given many people bad first impressions. One involving a mix up with curse terms (very bad), next involving a story on how I got suspended from school, a friend's parent coming to the door when I was still in my PJ's..... yeah.

Well, mine comes from a blind date I had (and now is the reason I will no longer agree to be set up). We went to the movies. I forget which movie we were actually going to see, but I went to the bathroom while he bought the tickets. When I came out, he said he'd changed his mind and he got tickets to some really bad Jimmy Fallon flick instead. Without asking. Strike one. I was pissed, but let it go. Then, as we were getting out of the movie, he had the gall to ask if my breasts were real...last time I ever saw him again.

Here's a hint guys: don't try to make all the decisions if you're dating a feminist, and don't ask her if she's had plastic surgery.

When i'm out with a woman I let them make the decisions to no cause problems like that:p

Eh bad first impressions, well it was with a girl when I kind of couldn't think about anything at all, so what do I speak about? thats right World of fucking Warcraft /cry

I am not a social person and don't really meet people often ... but my worst first impression of a game was when I was playing the demo of Too Human. The opening cutscene looked as though it was stolen, move-for-move from Mass Effect. The gameplay looked like it was stolen from Marvel, Ultimate Allience but the actual controls were just god aweful >.<

...

so yeah: first impression of a game is still a first impression right?
