Finding Nemo - You will have more fun watching a rock expand due to the sun causing heat expansion.

ET was simple it was just impossible, you had to collect three or four pieces of random garbage and combine them to make a starphone or some such trype. Anyway, you would find these things, get captured, and loose them, and, I'm pretty sure it wasn't actually possible to finish since the pieces had to be picked up in a specific order, or something. Anyway, I forget what the dots did and don't particularly care.

Yeah, I'm going to have to go with Battlecruiser 3000. I played it for all of ten minutes and then it went back in the box, never to return. Probably the smartest move I made with that game

I'm going to throw my hat in the ring and say Kings Quest Six Heir Today Gone Tomorrow

The game had you play as Prince Alexander of Daventry. Great character, awesome story, beautiful development...but..

if you forgot an item at the very beginning of the game (one that wasn't an obvious "pick me up because you need me") You were fucked for the rest of the game.

At one point you're required to ward off a minotaur, but you need a something red and wavy to do it with. The only red wavy thing available to you is a scarf from Chessboard land, and that was one screen past a useful place that you wouldn't even bother to go to.

GG Sierra.

On top of that, I'd like to say that Bay Bay's Kids for the SNES was a pile of dung. It was based off of the cartoon that aired on Comedy Central for like...three months or something like that.

I'll have to say Lord of the Rings: The Third Age.

Sure it's LotR, but its a redheaded stepchild of Final Fantasy with the TBC system

I think you mean Bebe's Kids. The one with the two African-American kids in the amusement park beating up the security guards and the one with the infamous "House of Glass"?

You have to really dig to find the real shit. The worst games I played were Family Dog, a poorly made platformer for the Snes, Nightmare Circus (or something of a similar name) for the Mega Drive, an abysmally programmed scrolling beat 'em up which gives poignant new meaning to the word "minimal", Fatman for the Mega Drive, a strange Japanese Beat 'Em Up with awful collision detections, sounds and graphics, and, most recently, Blinx The Time Sweeper for the Xbox, an ugly, unexciting, outdated game with a detestable protagonist, uninspired level designs, a broken time-travelling system and sluggish controls. Awful, awful game.

I've played ET. To a seven-year-old me whose only experience at games up till then was Stargoose, DeluxePaint and Lemmings, this was my first have at my uncle's Atari 2600 and my first ever console go. It was...interesting, I think, I can't remember it much except that I laughed every time the men kept kidnapping ET. Didn't like all the holes though.

It was more than ten years later before I realised, OMG I have actually had the (dis?)honour of playing this god-awful game for myself.

What about Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines? Sure it was based off a movie but it was the worst game I have ever played and definetely the worst game based off a movie ever. I mean just make it a first person shooter through and through but don't add COMPLETELY different elements of gameplay into the game. What I am talking about is the game at if I remember 2 or 3 times you get into a fighting style game when fighting the T-X Terminator chick. A FIGHTING GAME WITHIN A FPS???!!!! WHAT WERE YOU PEOPLE THINKING??? When I mean people I mean Black Ops and Atari who made and published the game respectively. The game was just too short, too lame and just too boring to be passed off as a real game. At least Terminator 3: Redemption was a good game, it truly redeemed this atrocious piece of junk. It was a good thing I only rented the game otherwise I would have truly have been pissed.

I read all these lists and I'm thankful I've pretty much not played any of these.

I must have excellent taste in gaming.

is it mostly smaller studios that have games that are the suck or is it pretty much evenly spread out between big name studios and smaller named ones?

I haven't gone through all of the pages on this thread, but I hope at least 5 people mentioned Big Rigs.

In 2nd place, 50 cent: BP.
