Worst game that never gets talked about

I purchased this game (Prey, xbox 360) a while back and it is just awful. Imagine doom 3, portal, and vertigo all mixed together in a turd milkshake. The story makes no sense at all, the graphics are obnoxiously terrible, and there is no logical reason why they used native americans as the protagonist other than that they played the "pick the minority out of a hat" game. It's almost insulting. Oh, and guess what else, you cant die in this game!!! Literally!!! You "die" and all that happens is that you go to a mini game where you shoot stupid bird things to regain your life, FML. Nightwolf cried himself to sleep the night this game came out.

So my two questions:

Does anyone else hate this game as much as I do? and what other TERRIBLE games have you played that you've never seen anyone even reference once on this forum?

I actually thought Prey was a very good game. True, the voice actors weren't that great, and it was weird how it was impossible to die, but it was a fun game nonetheless. Never tried the multiplayer though, but I rarely judge a game based solely on its multiplayer aspect.

And I'm pretty sure every game has been mentioned at one point. Or if it's that bad, it's probably NOT worth mentioning.

I don't agree with anyone in this thread. Prey wasn't as bad as the OP would have you believe, but it's certainly not "very good" either. It was a mediocre game ? it had a couple of interesting new ideas, but you have always been able to find games that did everything better quite easily.

To respond to the thread, however, the first game that comes to mind is Soldner: Secret Wars. It was an online FPS that came out five or six years ago, and looked really interesting. It was going to play more or less like Battlefield ? large levels, lots of vehicles, team-based play ? with two main additions: all objects were destructible, meaning that you could kill a sniper in a tower by dropping a tank on it from a helicopter, and the game had a 'commander mode,' before the Battlefield series added the same feature.

There was a decent level of excitement about the game before its release. A month before it hit shelves, they released a demo. For a couple of days, gaming forums were aghast with how god-awful the demo was. And then you never heard of the game again.

Someone on here once said to me that Portal wasn't really that amazing because Prey had done portals before it, and just as well.

Anyway, it gets mentioned all the time, but if there's a topic about awful games then Two Worlds must be mentioned, no matter what; and someone on here also said that Two Worlds was a very good game. And they were serious.

A part of me died that day.
