Human beings can be mean to each other at times, in fact, let's not mince words, we can be down right bastards to one another. But which person thoughout history is the worst example of human life? Which morally bankrupt, ruthless, coniving, cold, psychotic, traitorous and powerhungry asshole is the worst of the worst. This person could be anyone, you just need to name your canidate, give a little information about why their so bad and we can tally the results.

Now I realize this can be a complicated question to some, there's been many dictators, corrupt officals, greedy, moraless leaders, nutcases in power, mass murderers and big time con artists. The list goes on and on, my vote goes to Joseph Stalin, the man butchered communism to suit his agenda, starved Ukranian villages for years to supply his army, harrased his neihbours, killed millions, killed his own family, tried many times to instigate world war 3 and ground his country into the dust while doing so. He is the type of morally depraved, paranoid, power hungry, violent, psychotic, insane, cruel and hypocritical disgrace to us all.

So which, asshole do you pick?

M. Night Shyamalan. Lady in the Water was bad enough, but Avatar: The Last Airbender?
Heresy.

On-topic: Just stepping in before someone throws out the obligatory "It was Hitler, of course!"
Originality is dead.

I'd say Pol Pot. Sure, I could go for people like Genghis Khan or Tamerlane, but they at least at some strategic goal in their slaughters. Pol Pot was just an asshole.

Stalin gets my vote as well. I mean the Nazis were pretty nasty (Goebels and his wife murdered their children for fuck's sake), Genghis Khan was a psychopath, and Dick Cheney is the spawn of satan, but no one can compete with Stalin on human depravity and cruelty.

I think Satan himself carved out a special little spot for Stalin in hell for what he did.

Some of the ultra liberal will say Reagan for dismantling the world.
Some of the ultra conservative will say Carter for dismantling the world.
Hitler is responsible for 6 millionish deaths, but if you ignore the whole genocide/world conquery thing, he did a lot of good for Germany.
Genghis Kahn raped and killed half the world at the time, stole everything that wasn't nailed down, and is estimated to be a common ancestor of a fifth of the world's population. Considering he didn't know aboot the existence of half the world that's pretty impressive.
Souplex literally beat up God.

Yeah, your right. You are a real insult to our species you know that! How could you! That train had orphans, the elderly, heros with missing limbs, kittens and puppies aboard and you just... *runs off in tears*

And God visits regularly to kick him in the stomach.

Too many to choose from. I'll just go with one that is from this time period: Glenn Beck.
He spreads hatred and stupidity and lies(thinking about the America vs Europe chalkboard discussion here especially), which in my eyes is pretty bad.
Of course I could choose the people who ordered the massacre of Srebrenica or some rebel leader in Sudan or Kongo or that torture-master from the Red Khmer, but I thought I'd go with something more original.

Morgan Spurlock. Food will never be the same way, ever again. I miss the times when a Big Mac was a BIG MAC! Not three cheeseburgers mashed together. When nobody gave a shit about "perservatives" or "calories". You knew it was bad for you, that's why it was called junk food. I could go on and on about my deep hatred for that prick, but that is for another day. Oh and here's some more food for thought he was ranked more influencial than Mahatma Gandhi, can't remember where I read that but c'mon! [sub]No I'm not jelous that I didn't think of his idea first. [/sub]

I guess I'm in the minority of people who think Genghis Khan wasn't that bad a guy. He did what he loved, expanded his country, and fucked his way to being related to 8% of Asia (which he made up for by slaughtering a lot more than that). He was a go getter. Stalin and Cheney were power hungry paranoid fucks. The reason I think both of them are evil is because they had all the information of how their running of the world would not work, would fuck up every aspect of society and environment and economy for all but themselves, then used the information as toilet paper, paid for the writers assassination, and went on with their evil business. (probably involving puppies and boiling oil)

I was going for Hitler, but you make an excellent point about Stalin. I'd put them both at joint 1st.

I'll admit that Genghis was a product of his times in many ways, while Stalin was the product of the Devil and a mule. Mind you even the Devil thought he was an evil bastard.

Hang that man over a tub of bleach and force feed him water so he will have to piss, tell him about the clorein in the bleach and the amonia in the pee. now tell him that mixed together that it creates musterd gas. he may know that death by musterd gas is ungodly painfull. he will try to hold it in but in doing so his bladder will swell and eventually burst leading to death....or he will pee and die by musterd gas. now you may say im going to far and im a bad person.....BUT I WANT MY BIG MACS DAMNIT.

Thomas Midgley, Jr.

He was the guy who added lead to petrol. And subsequently poisoned half the world.

For an encore, he developed Chloro-fluoro carbons. And poisoned the other half of the world.

Having suffered massively from lead poisoning, and before the results of CFCs were well known, he contracted polio.

In his polio state, he made a series of pulleys in his bed to help him get up.

They malfunctioned one day and left him in a permanent state of bondage, to die.

Thomas Midgely Jr. "had more impact on the atmosphere than any other single organism in Earth's history." And unlike Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot - he's still indirectly killing people today, sixty six years after his death.

Wow, that is an extremely poetic death. After a life of lethal inventions, his final one killed him.
I was going to say Stalin for the reasons already listed, but that just took the top of my list. Going crazy in a position of power is one thing, but to use incredible genius to screw things up for probably centuries to come.....damn
