Selling my NES and all its games that I had when I was 7 to buy a SNES, now I'm 21 and trying to buy all those old games back, and they are all worth way more than what I sold them for back in the day

Hoping, nei, praying that Warhammer Online would be the game to oust WoW, also being a MMORPG fanatic and buying all sorts of games that fell through the cracks - Hellgate: London, that space one that died a little while back, Warhammer Online, Age of Conan - all wastes of my time and money.

During the Shivering Isles expansion for Oblivion I forgot to save before some choice or other and only got the achivement for one. I now have 1230 achivement points for Oblivion and will have to complete the Entire Shivering Isles again for that last 20 which I cannot even nearly be bothered to do.

my friend used his master ball on a ponyta in blue version. He later released the ponyta thinking he would get his ball back. He didnt.

Definitly the worst mistake i made was thinking that surely a game where Luigi is the main character would be awesome!! so i bought Mario's missing on SNES, and in my excitement not paying attention to the fact it was a GEOGRAPHY LEARNING GAME!!!!!!!!!! hence my OCD style obession with reading at least five different game reviews before buying anything!!

When I was a kid I didn't take care of my game disks (and I still don't, go figure). So, I've lost a good bunch of games and scratched a couple more beyond playability, due to my carelessness. Lost WarCraft 3, Final Fantasy 8, SimCity 3000, Red Baron, Comanche 4, and probably a few others. Scratched up WarCraft 2 beyond playability, and Shogun: Total War is getting iffy.

Probably trading in Fallout 3 because I didn't like the character models. If that version with all the DLC comes out, I'm getting it again. Ugh..stupid, stupid, stupid.

Same here "it won't take that long to become gyardos will it, I mean's it's a water type I'm next to a cave full of rocks should be easy"

More recently on Bioshock "hmm an Elite Rosie Big Daddy, I surely won't need that many more armour piercing rounds and it's not like it's gun can be that powerful"

Erm, in-game I toddled myself out to the plaguelands in WOW when I was level 9 or so.

Out-of-game, hmm, loaning out Illusion of Gaia and not bothering to get it back, not going Playstation when it was smart to do so, playing MarioWiiKart ("MarioKart knows you are winning - it knows it and it does not like it."), losing my copy of Golden Sun 2, and not developing any FPS ability or learning to supress the adrenaline surge from pvp combat in order to master it.

I also got scammed in Guild Wars - bought ink instead of black dye. ~shamed~

I bought Left 4 Dead for the Xbox 360 instead of for the PC.

even though I could probably make it now, I dropped my last portable save point in FF7 way before that downward spiral to the final boss, and could not make it past the slew of random encounters, or if I did, I was screwed health-wise.

I don't remember the game that well, but I intend to play it again sometime. All I remember was being completely anal about my materia. I spent hours perfecting it.

Dropped it in the wrong place and couldn't make it down? Just buy loads of ethers from Mideel and use cure-all!

I also was like that with my materia, I spent days getting it all mastered.
