Ever woken up in the middle of the night and couldn't sleep until your body stopped complaining...also post funny moments or "i wish" ideas here

I wake up sometimes because my body wants some damn water. I end up not sleeping because i cant be asked to get out of bed take 5 steps and drink water from the bottle.

Another one could be when I heard a loud buzzing noise which made me wake up... i could of sworn i saw a white shaped object infront of me...aliens? Disappeared when I rubbed my eyes but brilliant white in a pitch black room?

I wake up sometimes because I forced myself to go to sleep and I wasn't really tired. I always sleep well the next night, though.

I don't like the way you phrased that...

OT:I only wake up if my cat jumps on me, which it does EXTREMELY FREQUENTLY.

Other than nightmares the only thing that keeps me awake is the prospect of something I have yet to draw but feel the need to.

Also, I mistook you, Saylek, for Smiling Kitsune. Hes got the same avatar.

When the phone rings, if I have to pee, and if the stretchy sheets you put over the mattress come undone; and I have to fix it.

I don't like that last part.

I wake up a lot this Summer, and find it hard to get to sleep in the first place. I also wake up about 7am. At this point in time, there's nothing for me to do, so I'm trying to make every day go as fast as possible. I've started doing exercises in the day not to keep fit or for vanity reasons (no, that's what my gym membership will be for in Uni, muhaha), but so I feel tired enough to actually sleep.

I always wake up thirty, though. I think it's because I radiate heat like I'm slowly being microwaved.

That happened before at my school (I board). Our house has a cat, which once came through my window at 4 in the morning, scaring me shitless when I woke up to find it staring at me. The worst part? I then missread my digital watch and thought it was 7 in the morning. I got up, had a shower, got dressed, and only then did I look at my watch again and freak out. Cue 3 more hours of restless sleep in school uniform.

If I wake up, I usually go downstairs, have a snack, a drink, grab a cold bottle of water, and go back to bed.

Here's a rule though.

Never, EVER, look at a clock. Better you don't know how much sleep your missing out on or else you will feel it in the morning. You just go about without looking at the time and you'll feel better in the morning.

When I wake up because the toilet seat starts slamming and my bed levitates, I hate trying to convince the ghost that 4 in the morning isn't the time to be fucking around.

I thought this was about staying up at night...which I do.

Since that is the case, I'll say the worst part of the night is realizing you're completely alone and you've got nothing to do.
Seconded

Since my break up last valentines day the worst thing at night is the fact that well there ain't anyone else in my bed cept me, I have insomnia so I don't get much sleep any way, but when I do manage to get some sleep waking up in the middle of the night to find the bed empty kinda puts me in grumpy mood.

Thinking about gamma ray bursts and black holes. For some reason, those two things keep me up for a while.

Lol, yeah, less opportunity for smut now.

OT: I occasionally wake up in the night and convince myself that I can hear people moving around downstairs. Sometimes I have to go check before I can let myself get back to sleep.

Same, it's annoying especially when it walks over my face.

Are you sure its not yourself?

Anyways, the only time I wake up is when my fat cat starts meowing loudly to let him outside.

I HATE waking up in a pool of cold sweat, but still being too hot to go back to sleep, I've taken several showers in the middle of the night in my past...

And I get kinda worried when I wake up because my dog (golden retriever) has a bad dream or sences something threatening, only to find him calm as a slaughter leftover in the main hallway.
