Maybe I'm lucky, but I've never really played movie license games. My only experience of that awful group of games was The Return of the King, which was meh, and Star Wars Episode 3 for the GBA which was also meh

I beg to differ, Dare Devil was a steaming piece of purulent shit !

Tomorrow Never Dies was equally bad as TWinE, easily...

And to beat you all right now : E.T. on Atari 2600

Superman 64, if that counts.

As one reviewer put it, "The only positive is the game boots up."

I would agree if Superman 64 was not a cartoon license, but you can invoke Superman Returns, which sucks godly balls...

Wait... WTF, they did that ? TELL ME MOAR ! I MUST KNOW OF THE HORRORS !

And by the way, the NES/GB Jurassic Park game sucked 10 huge donkey wangs at one a second...

I'm surprised no one's mentioned the legendarily-bad ET yet, the game so bad that it almost sank Atari.

Man, it sucked... maybe that's why I'm not so quick to condemn other games; in comparison, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer almost seems good.

They ain't all bad; only the ones directly based upon the films. For example KOTOR was legendary, as were the Jedi Knight games, but games directly based on the films are released before they are ready, are rushed and have no purpose other than to milk a cash cow.

I think E.T. wins, because it sank Atari, but second place goes to Raiders of the Lost Ark, which was as bad as E.T., cost a truckload of money due to licensing fees, and was a complete disaster. If you remember Raiders, it was just as confusing and nonsensical as E.T.

The best review I saw of Superman 64 was (I think) N64 Magazine, who said "If you go to hell, this is the game that Satan will make you play. He'll even give you a comfy chair to sit on, as a spike would distract you from the torment of the game."

Are you kidding? Wait, Return of the King on the GBA?

Yeah, nothing special. But a good way to pass the time.

The Two Towers and Return of the King on home consoles were great games though.

So the worst movie based game I've ever played was From Russia with Love.
