There is this random movie thats name i cant remember... It was something like "soul-eater" "soul-catcher" or something. Its just a horrible horror-movie with nothing supernatural in it. With a name like "soul-something" you would think ghosts or something. But there are just some dudes with shotguns in the forest. stupid.

Batman and Robin. The original Tim Burton movies were fantastic, but then Batman and Robin comes along and spoils my fond memories of the series. Luckily, the Dark Knight repaired them.

And anything by Uwe Boll.

Oh, and Battle Royale II: Requiem. Original film was great (still not as good as the book) but by god was Requiem bad. It didn't know what it wanted to be! It tried to go for an emotional movie at some points, then political commentary, then action movie and it all mashed together to make horrible slop.

I wouldn't say any of those but all I would say is that you really haven't seen enough movies. There are far worse movies than any superhero movie I can think of.

Killer Tomatoes Eat France is probably a canditate for most laughably bad movie I've seen and The Matrix Reloaded/Revolutions is up there with the most frustrating and boring movies I've seen. Die Another Day was a pathetic excuse for an action movie and... well I could go on for days about all the awful movies I've seen.
I've given up on movies almost entirely. Almost everything is a steaming pile of no, especially the "critically acclaimed" ones. The superhero movie genre is one I can alienate entirely without exceptions.

Dreamcatcher? And if so, read the book. The movie was terrible indeed.

Live free or Die Hard. It would have been a decent general action movie but it sucked as a Die Hard movie. Every single thing that made John McClane John McClane was removed, the abundance of swearing, the witty/sarcastic comebacks, the general jack-ass behavior and of course the prerequisite line "Yippie-kai-ay ************!". The unrated DVD with swearing dubbed in and CGI blood added was just an insult.
Terminator Salvation was alright, far from the best but not the worst of the set. T3 was, in my opinion, the worst of the Terminator movies.
However, the absolute worst movie I have ever tried to watch was Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus (that really is the title). That movie made no sense at all. The special effects looked decidedly "special" and the acting was horrendous.
Certain things during the movie were never explained, like why a giant shark (bigger than a Megladon) jumped over a thousand feet into the air (up into the clouds) to bite a plane in half mid-air, or why the same giant shark lunges up and bites a chunk off of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Superbad. Worse shite ever.
Here be truth. My mates loved it, and I finally got round to seeing it on DVD recently, and it was just frikkin lame. I laughed maybe once or twice. Not even real laughs either, just a kinda "huh" sound. Total rubbish.

EDIT: I just remembered what my actual worst movies ever were. The Hostel and Saw series. I mean what the fuck? Just why? If I want to see extreme violence/torture porn, I'll just do it mysef. At least that way I'd cut out the weird vicariousness of watching someone getting shredded by chainsaw blades or barbed wire on the cinema.

The fact that they've managed to make 5 or 6 Saw films means people actually like them, and that worries me.

wolverine origins!!!!

(hope that works)
It didn't, that's what 'preview' is for, on here we use h1 /h1 and h2 /h2 etc. Have an experiment.

OT: I dont finish watching films if they are bad, and I ddn't finishing Project Horizon the other night...
I noticed but I figured it leaves the same idea, perhaps adding a mild desperation to my condemning of the movie.

Enjoy.

No, I'm sorry. it's still Battlefield Earth. Nothing is worse than a movie about Scientology!
Strange as it all started with a science fiction novel. (or so I hear)
The guy (Ron L. Hubbard) who founded scientology was a science fiction novel-writer, so that's not really a big surprise.
I believe you misunderstood my comment good sir, see to simply put what I meant here, Scientology = science fiction, science fiction = entertainment, scientology = entertainment. Therefore I said its surprising the movie wasn't entertaining. Not because that's what I think, it was just my way of ripping into the fact that as far as I understood the movie was based on a novel.

There were at least two instances of humor in it. That means it can only "suck."

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Monster A Go-Go is THE worst film of all time.

Honestly, I am surprised at the little amount of response BATTLEFIELD EARTH is getting.. it is very possibly the worst move of all time...
Well, it sits well above Independence Day(only flaw: Will Smith's campiness) and Starship Troopers(really? this is a solid movie), on the campiness scale.

But subconsciously, a few edits will turn the cheese into gold. I did skim the book afterwards too, so I respect it for trying AND failing.
But... how can you make a good movie out of a terriblly campy book in the first place!?!?

The Second X-Files movie is the worst movie that comes to mind since that was the most recent movie I saw in theaters. It was horrible, it was just plain bad. I loved the series and the first movie, but the second movie was just terrible.

the doom movie was bad, because it had all the cool alien/hellspawn taken out of it, also the BFG only had one shot which missed and did jack shit.

I liked The Spirit, saw it with a friend of mine and laughed through the whole thing it was so hillarious
