Worst of the best

In any successful and long running game series there has to be what you would regard as the worst of the series. So what is your least favorite game within each series from these-

Metal Gear Solid
Resident Evil
Final Fantasy
The Legend of Zelda
Megaman
Super Mario
Suikoden
Call of Duty
Dragon Quest

I must have worded it a little confusing. What I was trying to say is what game within each series do you dislike the most, not which series that I listed do you dislike the most. I'll try to reword the original post.

Suikoden. I've never even heard of it until now and I'm an avid gamer. Well, I was.

EDIT: Oh, I misunderstood. My least favorite game from my favorite series is Super Mario Bros 2.

I would say the worst of Zelda is the philips cd-i stuff.

But I've never been a fan of grand theft auto. I loved RDR and L.A. Noire, but I was not a fan of any GTA game, and couldn't get into them. I just had no interest.

I reworded the original post, it was misleading at first. I meant to state that within each game series what is your least favorite game from that particular series.

My apologies, I misread the OP.

I would say probably Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, within the MGS series, and Modern Warfare 2, within the CoD series. Both strayed from their roots, and suffered for it.

from LOZ, it's be spirit tracks it took all the fun free roaming of wind waker and put it on defined lines, with enemies that were, in some case unavoidable, and on occasion even rules to traveling, i want that game to burn so so much

Final Fantasy 3 is my least favorite FF. With 13 being my favorite.

My dislike of 3 almost borders on HATE. Almost.

Worst MGS would have to be Portable Ops for me.
Worst RE.....Code Veronica. Out of the main games, at least.
I've only played FF 7, 9 and 13. I really hated 13 towards the end, it was way too repetetive so I'd have to say that..
Worst COD - MW2 maybe. At least Black Ops had zombies but I don't like any of the recent Call of Dutys....

Worst Ace Attorney...Apollo Justice. I miss Phoenix too much...I think the game is great, just...not playing as Phoenix leaves me empty.

Worst DMC - It's been too long since I've played 2 so I can't remember how bad it is, but I'd say the worst out of the others is DMC4.

Worst MGS is the Twin Snakes, best is 3.
Worst RE is 5, best is 4.
Worst FF is XIII, best is 1
Worst LoZ is Wind Waker, best is MM.
Worst Megaman is Star Force 3, best is 2
Worst Super Mario is 2 (American), best is 3
Never played Suikoden
Worst CoD is 3, best is 4.
Don't play too much DQ

Metal Gear Solid - I have only played 1,2,3,and 4 so this is a tough decision. I would have to go with 2. A lot of people didn't like this one because of Raiden, but I actually like this character. MGS is such an excellent series that the worst of the main 4 is still one of my favorite games ever.

Resident Evil - Survivor was horrible, but of the main series I'd have to go with Code Veronica or 5. Like MGS the series is so great that I still love the worst.

Final Fantasy - Spinoffs aside I haven't played 2 or 3 long enough to judge them, but other than that I'd have to go with 8. I still enjoyed this game but I really didn't connect with the characters as much as the others, and the draw system I found irritating.

The Legend of Zelda - I haven't played the DS games, so I might have to go with LoZ 2 on NES. I just couldn't get into that game.

Would have to debate some of the others for awhile.

Metal Gear Solid - MGS2, I really looked forward to that game, then Raiden....
Resident Evil - RE5 (only played 1,2,3&5), just didn't feel like a horror game to me
Final Fantasy - X-2, I thought it was awfull
Call of Duty - COD3, bought the PS3 remake, did not like

not only it's one of the most awful games ever made, it's also a kick in the balls for all the fans, since it was made as an anniversary celebration for Sonic's 15 yrs

Metal Gear Solid: Only have played the fourth game. It was good.

Resident Evil: Never played

Final Fantasy: Have only played XIII. Not a fan. I'm gonna be giving VI and VII a go soon.

The Legend of Zelda: Hey, I've actually played all of these except for Spirit Tracks. I'll put it like this...
The overall worst quality: Zelda II
The worst Zelda game (not a bad game, but a bad Zelda game): Majora's Mask
My least favorite of the series: Phantom Hourglass

Megaman: They all kind of blend in together. I've played five or six of them. I really can't say which is better or worse.

Super Mario: Of the one's I've played, Super Mario Brothers 2 is the worst. Boring level design, not very challenging, and is overall very un-Mario like.

Suikoden: Never played

Call of Duty: Never played

Dragon Quest: Never played

I'd say the worst of the Resident Evil series is 5.
The worst of Final Fantasy is XII/XIV and the worst of Metroid is Hunters.

I'd say the worst of the Resident Evil series is 5.
The worst of Final Fantasy is XII/XIV and the worst of Metroid is Hunters.

13 has a really good combat system and a decent story. It isn't as bad as people say.
