Worst pain you've been in?

A few weeks ago I had an appendix infection and had to get my appendix removed, so the night I went to the hospital, followed by the next morning, I had what is surely the worst pain I have ever had in my life. I could nothing but curl up into a ball, shiver and vomit until my parents asked if I wanted to go to the hospital. The next morning I had to transfer hospitals, and I hadn't gone to the bathroom for about 12 hours. A full bladder with an infected appendix and a bumpy ambulance ride is a combination for excruciating pain.

I once tripped on a partly-cut pipe in the street, fell, and all of my weight was directed to my left arm. Double fracture.
Now, whenever someone mentions bones, I get this shiver and my legs turn weak.

Some time ago I got my hand impaled by a kebab skewer. I was watching my dad's girlfriend cooking. I was sitting in a bar stool in the kitchen, rocking it back and forth. I ended up losing balance and I grabbed for the table. I ended up dragging a bunch of utensils and whatnot down with me, including knives. Somehow when I landed one of the skewers I pulled down impaled my right hand. That wasn't exactly fun. In retrospect I'm glad that's all that happened. I landed on a knife too, but it was flat, no injury.

Since then I've been really light on the injuries. Scrapes here and there are about it.

I had a lumbar puncture without anesthesia when I was five. I don't particularly remember that, however I apparently did quite a bit of screaming and several people were required to restrain me. So probably that or the time an elevator door went over my foot.

Yesterday, when I dislocated my kneecap. All I was doing was starting to walk up some stairs. On the first step, my knee popped out and I kinda fell. Thank God for Australia's free healthcare and those wonderfull wonderfull drugs.

Seriously. Morphine is the best thing in the world.

The whole process for my wrist surgery. I had no idea there was so much going on there until they had to take it all apart and put it back together again.

During a preformance (I was in a Stunt show for a local Themepark) took a Lead pipe to the Knee Caps during the first show. Put my big girl panties on, took a shit load of Advil,Iced my knee's a bit inbetween and finished out the day. Five Preformances total. Later I went to the hospital to find I'd suffered some minor Fracturing. It was the Day from Hell.

My knees were deteriorating. Since they were swollen it felt like they had put a balloon between the two bones (where the cartilage SHOULD have been) then blowing it up to an enormous size and then exploding. This went on for two days. I couldn't walk, it was painful the entire time with some random explosions of extreme massive pain--it hurt so much my mom had to stuff my mouth so I wouldn't swallow my tongue. I actually passed out from the pain every now and then.

Then the doctor told me what it was--it was a combination of my bones rubbing against each other, my cartilage vanishing and a growth spurt.

I only grew a couple centimeters.

when i was a kid i got a piece of glass the size of a pee stuck in the palm of my hand (and for some reason i had no idea). after a week i told my mom about all the pain i was having in my palm. she checked it out and told me there was something in my palm. at this point most parents would say "well lets go to the hospital and get the doctor to get it out of there for you" but, being the mountain folk that we are, the hospital is an hour drive from our house. so my mom pops out a needle and a knife and decided to play amateur surgeon. she cut my palm with the knife and started digging around in my palm with the needle trying to find the glass. she went at this for about 30 minutes before we got the dam thing out. i never got stitches, i never saw a doctor, and we used a shot of very potent tequila to clean out the wound.

worst pain i have ever felt that i remember though i imagine the time i smacked my head against the fireplace as a child and cit my head open would beat that if i remembered it

Having to get the ingrown toenails removed from both of my big toes. two needles of anesthetic under each toenail (the toenail removal was painless due to the anesthetics mostly) although he cauterized some of the bleeding, and some areas of my toe to prevent it becoming ingrown again.

After it was all over and the painkillers were wearing off I had to wait 4 hours for my (much needed) painkillers could be filled due to the pharmacy being over-run with old people.

I feel you sister girl, but if it really is that unbareable it could be something more serious, and I would go get checked out.

Once when I was about 6 I was building a pillow fortress when I had finnished it collapsed with me on it, and I fell pack and smashed my head against the corner of our stone fireplace. I got 13 stitchess in the back of my head and now if I cut my hair to short I have this wierd bald spot on the back of my head.

Also when I was 14 I was putting clothing in the washer when I accidentally bumped the Iron that was sitting on the edge. What I didn't know was that it was still hot from having been recently used. So to keep it from falling into the washer I stuck my arm underneath it which caused it to burn my arm very badly. And I still have the scar from it on my inner right arm.

I broke my collar bone back in October because I was Judo flipped by a friend... Wasn't the smartest thing to do when you jokingly try to push a well trained friend over. It felt terrible. And then the VERY weird feeling of your deltoids muscle stretching... Ew!

I played Call of Duty 4

second worse was when I lost my middle fingernail
I tried to break a small rock with a bigger rock. That's the day I discovered my middle finger is longer than the others.

lol well its not actually THAT bad pain wise, but unlike other pain it hangs around and its hard to ignore (of coarse its fine if take somthing)

but yeah as I said compared to other people Ive had it really easy, I once did cut my thumb badly, like down to the bone which didnt exactally hurt much but for some weird reason It made me feel like I was going to faint (couldnt get enough air, felt like I was going to be sick) even though I wasnt even grossed out by it

I broke my leg at age nine after some older kids attacked me on the way home via someone's truck. Three months in the hospital, more months disabled and in physical therapy, and all the while glad those fuckers who attacked me went to jail.

hmm. i've had a dog bite out a portion of my face before?
been stung by an entire nest of hornets in an enclosed space? (fucking cousin =_=)
cut both my thumbs lengthwise on various sharp objects.
cut my right index finger down to the bone with a knife by accident

out of all that, I think the worst would have to be the hornets, as it led to me blacking out at waking up the next day in a hospital bed, to which im now 15 years later permanently scarred o_O
