Ooh hmm...

Probably ripping a muscle in my back.
Although I once did myself another injury that was more painful but also less easily expressed.

-while playing badminton, before you get any ideas.

Broken nose, ribs, leg and ankle, all at the same time.. I've never been in more physical pain ever... Worst fucking day of my life... I was also pushed into a bonfire when i was 6.. not a very pleasant experience... Yep, I'm a pretty unlucky person... At least I'm not afraid of giving birth.. I can't possible be as bad..

I've put my hands on a barbecue when I was little, and had the skin melted off. I also tore my rotator cuff and my shoulder dislocated forward, so on the x-ray my shoulder was stretched so that it was halfway to my elbow. Despite those, the most pain I've been in is these stomach aches I used to get when I was younger. :/

I have had a deep inner and middle ear infection. The kind you end up going to the ER at 3AM for. Pretty sure I got it while swimming out on the yearly camping trip. I can say without any doubt it was the single worst pain I have ever experienced in my life. Worse than being cut, burned, fracturing my leg, being shot (which, granted, was with a target rifle), concussed, you name it. In every other case there was at least a measure of being able to distance yourself from the injury. You could cope by compartmentalizing. Yeah, that hurts really bad, but it's over there and the thinking part of me is over here.

But not with that ear infection. Absolutely no defense against it, it just cut straight through everything you had, wrapped itself around your brain stem and left you with nothing to perceive but pain.

I recently got so ill I couldn't move from my bed. I woke up with the most awful headache, then my stomach started, then my throat. What I thought would pass with an asprin or two soon left my unable, really, to do anything but lie there and moan. I made one trip out of bed to call my mum and throw up.
My teacher got pissed at me for not informing her I wouldn't be in class, and I'm sitting there like 'fucking hell, lady. I felt like I was going to die. If I'm dying, I'm calling my mum and the hospital, not my fucking photography teacher.'

So yeah. My worst pain was that one time I could move or sleep because swallowing made my throat explode in agony. Thankfully my loving mother showed up on the second day with Strepsils, soup, a boatload of asprin, and a new book to read. I love my mommy.

I think falling down a flight of concrete stairs when I was a kid and almost/breaking my nose counts as the worst pain I've ever been in. I can't think of anything else if there was anything else.

Fire (not a burn, but actually partially being on fire), getting knifed twice, getting hit by a car four times so far, and a 15m fall from the roof once (I fell in snow, not that it helped much, with the snow being pretty much ice by then). Bit of a toss-up.

Basically, I'm as accident-prone as I am apparently indestructible. Unfortunately, this has yet to make it hurt less.

I do remember an incident when I was 16. I was riding my mini-bike (not very mini) which is a terrifying monster made by Kawasaki 1920834709831247 years ago, before safety regulations were a big thing. Anyways, I tried a short cut, hit a root, the handle bars turned so one faced me, and I rammed my testicles onto the end of it. I walked a few feet, then the pain kicked in. Everything around there was black and I peed blood.
It was not pleasant and sitting/standing up was tedious for a little over a week.

Now this may take some explaining. A while ago I got an ear infection. Now this, by some miraculous trial of fate managed to spread through my sinuses into my gum. The infection formed a pool of puss above my upper right incisor. This forced my tooth out about 3mm.

When i finally managed to go to the dentists about it (I stupidly thought it would clear up), they had to drill a hole in the back of my tooth to drain out the puss, but not before injecting my gum with about 30ml of anaesthetic. This was insanely painful for two reasons, 1, they were forcing more crap into my gums which were already under immense pressure due to the puss, which caused intense pain. And secondly, after the 'op', the dentist said what happened was that the build up of puss had caused my teeth and upper jaw bones to displace by a large amount, and that they were returning to their normal position.

That was the most painful thing I have ever experienced, and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Imagine the most severe toothache you have experienced, add about 200 psi worth of pressure and an an occasional stabbing with a knife and that's pretty much what it felt like.

The worst thing was that I couldn't do anything about it, with ear and toothaches there is nothing to hold or put pressure on to ease the pain, i just had to sit through it.

Incidentally, when I got home I passed out for 2 hours on my bed because of the pain.

*Edit, after reading some comments, I think I related most to this one* :

I feel your pain man, honestly I do, I also had an inner ear infection which I got while swimming on holiday (unrelated to above), there is nothing you can do, no defence, nothing to ease the pain or take your mind off it. Its awful. The worst kind of pain is that which you cant do anything about.

Necrosis in my side due to a spider bite( brown recluse, evil mother fuckers) Took all of about 20 hours after being bite to turn fully back and necrotic. Before that I was really hot and really cold at the same time, threw up a bit I think, was delusional and my side hurt like hell.

I fell down a few times too.

After that and they cut it out, a good sided chunk, they stuffed it with bandages, it had to changed from time to time and it tended to stick on my insides, it felt like they were pulling my guts out.

To put it in perspective they gave me morphine two or three times.

AFTER that when I went HOME, more painful bandage removal and then the doc told them to soak the bandages in a not very well proportioned solution of water and BLEACH.
ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

CURSE YOU!!

Completely regret googling what "necrosis" is.....

>_< *vomits*
Alright now I just googled it. Why oh why am I this stupid that even after seeing someone else suffer I decide to do it to?

My big toe nail was seriously ingrown, and they had to numb it 4 times to even begin to get at it, and when they cut it open and started to yank it out by the root, my damned nerve was still awake. That was probably THE most painful thing I've gone through. It took weeks to stop throbbing.

heartbreak..... D';
anyways this one takes the cake for me just thinking about it! i'm just one of those wristy kind of people.

My most painful was when my friends decide to do what we dub pain week and our neighbors dub suicide watch week. I shaved my arm with a circular hand saw* which went well, right up until the point I have got to the part of your wrist that bumps out at. To which after I tried to go over, I cut into my wrist, sawing through nerves, tendons, skin and partially the bone right under the thumb. YEAH! Lets talk about pain. And it only gets worse when your friends laugh at you and tel you you're out for the week while you go pale from blood loss. Good thing I was younger (and my grandfather carries extremely good health coverage after being in WW2 courtesy of the Government of the United States of America) so it all healed with just a scar left behind.

... and weakened left hand with a hardened wrist.

<spoiler=*looks like this, cause when I told a guy from Greece at my college, I got the blank stare>http://www.cordlesscircularsaw.org/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/Makita-5090DW-9.6-volt-Cordless-Circular-Saw-Kit-150x150.jpg

Missing out on Daft Punk's Alive 2007.
[sub]Yes it is a real pain! But if you insist probably something from my mouth or leg. My mouth usually hurts one way or another which is a real nuisance when nom'ing down food. The leg pain is a cramp which makes me want to saw my leg off. Note that even though I had daily nose bleeds for 2-3 months it rarely hurt. Take that as you wish[/sub]

Yeah, most people are, but then again, thats why God gave you two. So you can do the most horrific and unspeakable things to one, and leave the other in mint condition.

EDIT: but you're tough yourself for dealing iwth heartbreak. Thats rough, rougher then any severings of the body.
