LoZ: OoT - I hate how rolling is faster than running, cause I roll everywhere.
FEAR - the flashlight having to recharge every few seconds
Morrowind - How you can swing your sword at someone right in front of you and still miss

All minor complaints for what I consider to be perfect games

Morrowind: The combat lacked in the beginning of the game, caus you never hit anything.

Oblivion: Wasn't like Morrowind

World of Warcraft: Dungeonfinder and easy raid instances, they suck, it makes being a person irrelevant and allows everyone to behave like assholes.

Civilization 4: On higher diffucilties, everything becomes centered around military

InFamous- The sewer levels.
Freelancer- It raped the corpse of its brilliant predecessor.
TIE Fighter- Too much time spent killing rogue Imperials, not enough time spent killing Rebel scum.
The Punisher- Toned down, B&W executions.

my favorite game is Prince of Persia the Sands of Time and the worst part of that game are the sequels.
what I liked the combat in SoT
Jak 2: some of the levels were annoyingly difficult
Ratchet and Clank Going Commando: nothing wrong with it... I just liked SoT and Jak 2 better
Rock Band 2: not enough Coheed and Cambria, and there's nothing by Aya Hirano
Mass Effect 2: there's only half as much Dialogue as there should be. there should be one conversation between every mission. oh yeah and the planet scanning was borrrrrrring
Silent Hill 2: um...why did I have to figure out which order to put the coins in that chest so I could open it? couldn't I just have smashed it open with my stick?
Portal: the time trials are unforgiving
Half Life 2: there's nothing wrong with it. I just liked the 7 previous games better
Tales of Vesperia: only half the game is voiced over
Mirror's Edge: collision detection issues and loading time issues kept Mirror's Edge out of the # 1 spot.

Congratulations you now know my top 10 favorite games
feel free to call me an idiot or praise my good taste

and I can't think of anything that was wrong with Half Life 2

Dated technology in ICO: graphics, camera, and AI actually interfere with the gameplay. But its still wonderful...

My favorite video game is The Warriors and the worst thing about it is The Moonrunners. They have these two moves that make you wanna tear every one of their heads of in the game. The first attack they have when you grapple and beatdown one of them is this paint spray attack that temporarily obscures your vision and leaves pink paint on your face. The second is this running dive tackle that they hit you with from far away and they're everywhere in the level before the ones that coincide with the movie.

The fact that archers are so piss weak in comparison to the Warrior and Mage type characters.
Get the Sniping skill up to 100 where you can paralyze occassionally with your shots, you become a beast. Used a bow I had from Shivering Isles, and cleaned out City Isle without too much trouble, Invisibility helping obviously.

Favorite game (one of many) would be KotOR, and I hate how since I've been spoiled by such beautiful graphics, how crappy it looks now. In five years time, it should be remade.
I'm not stupid, I know about Paralyzing arrows, but you shouldn't have to supplement archery with other skills, since pure warrior and pure mage do just fine.

But a pure stealth archer is piss weak in comparison. He needs assistance from Alchemy or Illusion to be truly effective.

Agreed.
I always wanted to be a sort of fantasy Robin Hood.

Also, for my own contribution:
Monster Hunter has no fans at my school, thus I cannot complete any multiplayer hunts.

hey you want an involving rpg be prepared to lose some sleep on account of being a dick :p

I gotta say planet-scanning in ME2 or the overall broken-gamey glitchiness of L4D. Amazing games otherwise...

The fact that in Brutal Legend, if you want to play a different chapter again you lose all your progress on your previous save (this could easily be fixed by allowing multiple saves) this makes it EXTREMELY frustrating if you're going for the trophies where you have to collect/find a bunch of stuff you really wouldn't have cared about if the game didn't give you trophies for finding them and also I can't play online matches because no one plays it online anymore. (although upon reflection this is more of a community issue or lack thereof than anything else)

Halo (say what you will): The flood. Zombies with shotguns is bad, zombies who are invisible are bad, and zombies with energy shields are bad. Thank god Bungie realized we just weren't having fun with them when ODST came out.

The worst part of my favourite game which by now should be pretty apparent, is a tie between initially recovering Miss Ashley, and also the portion of controlling her supple, incapable body.
That aspect of the game basically ruined it for me. Why can't she pick up a spare gun, or even a pointy stick? Shouldn't the president's daughter know anything about defending herself? She does nothing, absolutely nothing to help, unless some puzzle requires the presence of a second participant.
It's understandable if they wanted to create a certain tense atmosphere by having a defenseless ward to take care of, which is undoubtedly effective in a horror game. Ashley however is an adult, and it just isn't practical and doesn't compliment the game to have her behave the way she does. It's one thing to let your skilled rescuer call the majority of the shots, but to not even attempt to do anything of use is puzzling. If that's what they were aiming for, they should have made her a young child that Leon could piggyback throughout the game, how cute.

The ending to Fallout 3 (pre-DLC).

That really got me confused, I mean, why would you kill off the only playable character at the end of a sandbox game, when there is SO MUCH MORE to do after that? I ended up having to reload a save file and just going on from there.

But then of course the Broken Steel DLC was released and I was happy again :)

In Minecraft, you can't unstack things, which gets a bit annoying for crafting and whatnot.

EDIT: Never mind, you can unstack things. Ignore this post.

Spyro 1 is my default favourite game. It's super fun and really replayable, but my main gripe is that it's really easy and kind of short.
