I love saints row 2 but i'm a little dissapointed how your character turns out by the end. In the first one your recruited by a gang that wants to take the streets back from the other gangs and make the city a decent place to live again.

By the end of the 2nd one (SPOILER) you end up becoming just another warlord crime boss. Your just as bad as the gangs you sought to take out and you even go out of your way to kill the one voice of reason and your former mentor and it seems like the game is trying to convince you that its a positive thing.

I can deal with the idea that your character has been corrupted and turned into the very thing he/she was trying to destroy but it shouldn't be viewed as a good thing.

i'm hoping if they make a 3rd game it will star as a new character trying to take your previous character down. and if you've beaten the 2nd game then your saved character could be uploaded so that they look the same when you go to face them.

Devil May Cry 3. The cheesy lines. I so badly wanted to ask Dante if he wanted some wine with that cheesy.

Never played Half-Life or any of its babies, don't hurt me. The worst part of my favourite game which by now should be pretty apparent, is a tie between initially recovering Miss Ashley, and also the portion of controlling her supple, incapable body.
Ugh, I thought Ashley and her big ol' monkey ears was the worst part of the game in general. A body's nothing if the face haunts your every dream xD

And that voice. "LEON!! HELP! LEON!" I would take Navi over her any day.

There was some pretty big freedom in Mass Effect 2. Until near the end where you had a certain amount of time if you wanted to save EVERYONE.

You got to skip story missions, and scan planets for new missions. MAss Effect 1 did it much better...

I agree with you on everything else though lol. Especially KotOR 2. Ending pissed me off. The worst part of both those games, in my opinion, would be how Godly you get once you near the end. You start getting one hit kills and no one can stand up to you. Even the boss battles are simple.

As for Mass Effect 2, the scanning bullshit... ugh... I stopped blinking one time while doing it. Tranced by the "Beep......beep.....beep.....brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!! CACHING!.......beep......beeep.....beeep..."

By the way, that middle part was finding the materials, then probing them, just in case anyone wondered xDD

Anyhoo, the worst part of my favorite game is...
Sailing.
Game should be obvious.
I am with you bro, horrible horrible sailing.
the boat was red though which kept my attention for some time.
I forgot to mention the sidequests. They were really counter-intuitive, and there was barely any hint or direction as to even begin them. For instance, to get the Deluxe Picto Box, you need to take pictures of people in specific situations, and then catch a barely visible bug in a forest across the ocean. How was I supposed to know to do this? None of the sidequests, such as getting the special sea charts (Octo, sea hearts, etc), had any initial direction.
They definitely had the chance to use the NPCs for this, but instead the NPCs were useless. What I mean is a system where passers-by could say things like "I heard that there's this thing that does X located somewhere around Y."
I mean, the dungeons had puzzles that you had to figure out, but you figured them out logically by examining your surroundings, not just by random chance. Why couldn't the sidequests work like this?
I thought the worst part was finding the Triforce pieces. That took FOREVER. I had to look at a guide, and I never use guides. I spent more time sailing in that game then I did on the actual story.

And I didn't think the maps of where the pieces are were too helpful. It showed a bit of island and pretty much slammed you on the bum and kicked you out the door.

Bahahah The novels actually pointed that out at points. He would say something cliche, then think to himself, "What the hell was that?"

Diablo 2 - Act 3's overuse of marshes with similar enemies throughout gets extremely tiresome. Trudging through the desert in Act2 drags on a bit as well.

Rock Band is likely my true favorite game because of the drums...and my most hated part of that game is that the drums have a lifespan of less than one year without warranty before needing replacement on average (the red note consistently breaks with the peddle sometimes breaking long afterward).

Overall the fact that FFVII has been overmarketed to a point that people have this big massive chip on their shoulder about it and need to mention it in some negative light in any thread even tangently related to FF series or JRPGs or must mention at some that it is not their favourite game in the series and rather another game oh you rebel you.

In the game itself the fact that certain storylines were not fleshed out enough in the original game giving wiggle room for these atrocious spin offs. The combet in the game is also a bit too easy although not as bad as FFVI or X or XII or VIII. Maybe comparable to VIII not as abd as others.

I was talking more about customisation of your character, I prefered being allowed to chose my powers rather than them being chosed for me. In ME1 you got far more choice. It's just my opinion.

Mass Effect: I haven't gotten around to playing it just yet, but I'm already dreading the vehicle sections.
The ones on the main quest planets aren't actually that bad, because they were actually designed. It's the random ones that are a pain. Sure, there is tons more of those, but if you just stick to the actual sidequests themselves (ie no mineral/artifact hunting, which only gives credits and small bits of xp anyway) you should be able to minimize the time spent in the misused Mako.
Wanna know something interesting? The Hammerhead in ME2 was the original design for the Mako.

Oh, uh... shit. Um... I don't really think I have a favorite game, so... I don't really have something to hate. Although I can go down a list, but I don't wanna waste anyone's time with that.

I really didn't enjoy the vehicle sections in HL2, I mean the jeep wasn't so bad but the air boat took the piss. I did enjoy the sports car in EP2 though, I enjoy making tracks and driving it in garrys mod. :p

Ah, I see where you're going at. I completely agree. Worst part, instead of having so many wonderful moves, you only had about 4 or 5 real things to level up. And one of them was your class. And the best powers mostly loyalty unlocked.

No, no, I know what you mean. I disliked it very much. I think they went off of the most preferred powers per class, though, and did that. So, I'm a bit worried for Mass Effect 3. Though, I do think that if you mastered Throw in one game, you better not be a pussy with the move in the sequel. Makes no sense. It will be just like God of War, losing your powers and weapons at the beginning of every game and becoming a weakling, over and over. I mean, how many times must one man crawl out of Hades before they realize they need a new plan.

The community. The testosterone infested freaks and immature little shits that roam the servers of Halo are my only complaint.
