Worst Purchase Ever Made

A buuuuuunch of games and dvd's that I bought new and only played/watched once, but I can't sell them because I just keep telling myself "Sometime soon I'll watch/play them again"... and never do.

And an acoustic guitar. I've never played it, because I play left-handed. I keep telling myself that I'll bring it someplace and get it restrung for lefty and get a lefty instruction manual. I'm sure I never actually will, though. At least I somewhat anticipated that I very well may never use it, and only spent $50 on it.

Oh I can totally relate. I remember those days in elementary school, chatting with my like-minded friends that these cards would be worth gold, solid gold, on eBay in years to come. Now, as I prowl that online yard sale, I see that you can buy 500 of the little things for pocket change (Instead of that holographic Charizard that you hoped would be worth $500.00 by now). FAIL.

I wonder what I would have done with all the money I saved... =[

I used to love those cards. I hardly bought any though, used my leet trading skills to screw over all the other kids.

I bought a guitar a while back but I never actually got round to learning how to play it. Probably the biggest waste of money for me.

But in defense of Xenosaga 2, I was playing it because of the fuck win first game.

I bought two more months of Age of Conan to play around a bit. I only logged in a few times.

Then there was Elder Scrolls 4. I never actually found it entertaining.

I once bought this RC stealth fighter when I was younger. The ad made it look like the coolest thing ever and I HAD to have it. When I finally bought it it was made of styrofoam and didn't fly. We took it back. I've never trusted a commercial since.

Two tickets to "She's just not that into you" - My girlfriend fell asleep ten minutes in, I felt two hours of my life being ripped out through my pores.

I tend to enjoy all the edible things I buy.
With music, sooner or later I convince myself that I like what I've bought if I don't initially like it.

As for videogames, the worst purchase I've made was Condemned, even though it was only $5. The game was terrible, to say the least.

And as for everything else, I'm very careful about buying things.
