I apologize for not reading your entire post, but you have to admit that the your first sentence is a major turn-off for someone looking for open-minded perspectives on the internet, which by definition are hard to come by.

I come from Germany and the worst and most embarassing thing I have ever heard was in a history lesson(12th grade):
A girl said: "But [in the M.A.] the jews lent money to the kings, which means they were actually more powerful than any christian."
Our teacher(she's even quite young, so there's no excuse): "Yes, that's right."

I really hope I was not the only one to put her credibility into question.

I get harassed by a group of "skin heads" at my college every so often because I am a LEGAL immigrant living in the USA. Apparently I'm "non entitled" to the education that I'm paying for because I'm taking a space that "belongs" to an American citizen, or something. They're idiots, though, so they're easy to deal with with reason.
What's a ***** is when Border Patrol pull me over, which they do on a reasonably regular basis. I'm just gonna get this out of the way,

FUCK YOU, BORDER PATROL.

Yeah, they're dicks and they give me a hard time for being an immigrant all the time. They've searched my car about 3 times this year, and pull me over for no good reason several times a week. Because they're dicks. I'm not even going to go into the stupid bullshit reasons they give me for why they do it, but that's what the new Arizona immigration law allows these xenophobic bastards to do.
Fuck the law and fuck the border cops.
Ummm no it doesn't, read the law. What you need to do is document every stop and search and establish a pattern of harassment which if what you say is true then thats really damned easy. You can easily nail cops and BP with 4th amendment violations especially if you have multiple stops that amount to nothing.

My friend had his ankle broken for having the nerve to be black.
He was trying to join myself and a few other guys in a club when a bouncer shoved him back and curbstomped his foot.

We know it was racially motivated because the bouncer saw him with us and still refused him. He was the only black guy in the group and actually the most sober among us. He wasn't even coming in to drink, he was coming in to tell us he was going to wait in the car. He fucking said as much to the bouncer.

He's pressing charges, and there were security cameras everywhere so he's bound to get justice. Still, leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

Well, I read past the first sentence with no problem(...)
After a while, one gets very tired of plowing through bigoted posts on the net to get to good content. A mistake happened for this, of course. But not without motive.

The same can be said of minorities who turn out to act racist towards white people. It's mostly born out of frustation... excluding those who are just plain ignorant.

For me this growing collage of personal experiences has sort of melted into two very simple schools of thought; I am ethnically inferior to anyone that is not black and white, and that the state I live in will always be hell.
From the examples you give, sounds mostly like you're expected to feel inferior to anyone who is not white. [sarcasm]Which of course has never happened in American history and I'm sure, this being the Escapist, someone will be along presently to tell you how they skinned their knee on Martin Luther King Day once and how this is proof that BLACK RACISM IS THE REAL PROBLEM somehow[/sarcasm].
[sarcasm] Oh yes! Because we all know there is no such thing as black racism. mmmhmmmmm! [/sarcasm]
In point of fact, I didn't say this and hardly anyone ever does; that's another moronic "poor oppressed white man" cliche. Saying that many complaints about "black racism" turn out to be spurious, or defensive reactions to hearing a black person mention that racism exists (and/or attempts to shut down discussion of white racism by attempting, often lamely, to play misery poker), has nothing to do with claiming there's "no such thing as black racism." Pull the other one.
Snort! You seem to have anger issues and you should look into that.

Other than that I won't even bother to pick your "retort" apart. It's just that ridiculous. I think that you should turn your platform shoes in as the 70's are over and you should realize that the world has moved on from that era.

But apparently you haven't... so this is awkward.

Anyhoo.. have a good one.

In Ireland, some people are quite racist. Mainly for immigration reasons and them worrying about taking jobs. It's terribly tough over there and it's 10x as hard to find a job there than it is in the US. I was there in January and my dad's friend has in Irish flag on his taxi to signify he's Irish and white.

I'm white and I hate white people.

Well, mostly people like the BNP and the EDF, but some of their supporters can barely speak English themselves, as evidenced by this video:-

earlier today i encountered a black man that said and i quote" black people cannot be arrested for a hate crime, only white people can,if a black person beats on a white person it doesn't count as a hate crime,or even as a crime. black people are taking over America and we are gonna make you out slaves"

this made me want to stab him in the throat so he couldn't spout that kind of bullshit ever again.

probably 4Chan or the WBC.
I don,t encounter that much racism here in Holland (well maybe Wilders but he talks out of his arse)
Also a guy once called me a foreigner even though I was born in Holland (I have a South-East Asian ancestry making my skin abit tinted)

i feel very victimized for not being bilingual and being a white male in my country. i am frequently passed up for job opportunities to a less qualified person so the company can fill race quotas, and frequently harassed over not being able to speak both official languages, when the other person could simply speak English when they are bilingual themselves.
this happens too much,i know how you feel

but as I am white who cares what I think.
I love the poor little white man act that some people on this forum have started playing.

OT: A black friend of mine got called a ****** once, that's honestly about it. I've heard people express some rather interesting view points, or make some cringe-worthy comments, but those sorts of things are born from ignorance rather then actual racism.

Another time we were walking home pissed from a party (same friend), this guy (also drunk, bit of a chav) comes up and asks my my mate for a light, my mate says "no" and carries on walking, so this guy starts saying "who do you think you fucking are?" etc.

My friend starts telling him to fuck off (he's quite an angry drunk xD At another party someone once said he was going to headbutt me as a joke, my friend overheard when he was standing next to me and started offering him out), and then this guy starts asking him where he's from. I was pretty sure that was going to lead somewhere racist so I stopped the guy mid-sentence, but I can't say for definite.

Really, there's not much racism where I live. In the county, possibly (of the ignorant but not genuinely hateful variety), but not in the actual city.

Where in Sweden do you live? It's not that bad where I live. Or maybe I'm just not noticing it...

Anyway, I haven't really met anyone who's really racist, I've just heard some pretty racist comments now and then.

For example, two teenage guys were talking in some game store. Here's basically what they said;

Guy 1: You know that stupid game EA made where you, like, couldn't kill anybody and had to like run around and shit?(I believe they were talking about Mirror's Edge)
Guy 2: Yeah, that game is stupid and sucks. Battlefield 3 looks so much better, there you get to do cool stuff, like kill sand-(N-words)!
Guy 1: Yeah, it's gonna be awesome!

Short version: I was beaten in middle school by a group of kids who thought Nazism was cool, at least the kill all Jews part. Since I am a Russian Jew, they went after me until one day they carved three cross into my arm with a pencil and then my friends helped me beat the crap out of them and they left me alone.

I don't really recall serious racism against me, but I do have a friend who is constantly followed throughout stores. He very dark, while I'm just an little lighter.

I won't lie, I have been topic and dispatcher of many a racist joke, some went to far, but ALWAYS just messing around with friends. Never serious. I recognize the Human Race above all others.

My best friend is the most racist Mexican on the planet, he looked up the Vietnamese version of N*gger just to piss me off. I'd still fight for him. Miami is a pretty diverse place, so I rarely see true hate, just people who believe in stereotypes.

....wait
I'm half Black, half Jamaican. Just because I get decent grades, wear a belt, read, speak properly, and listen to a bit of Rock I'm White? Asshole, You're insulting your own people. I shrug it off but damn it hurts! When I was younger, I actually considered I was adopted because every one of my Black classmates told me I was white. I was in Elementary school, that fucked me up. I'm angry just typing this! It's bullshit and it saddens me to think African Americans think like this.

Does that count?

Same goes for Blacks that hate other races. I can't stand Racism in any form. My whole family is like this; not true hate, but distrust and prejudice. I'm still a little socially messed up because most of my friends were White(see above) and my dad, old school Jamaican, wouldn't let go out with them. He actually said once:

"I don't trust those White people."

He came over in the 60s, so I get it, and I love him to death, but it never made sense to me.

Sorry for text wall. Serious business here.

A friend of mine has a father who seems extremely racist, he insults people by calling them a ******, he makes all kinds of extremely distasteful racist jokes, and just generally acts how you would expect a typical racist to act. Except... as far as I can tell, he isn't racist. He has a bunch of friends and even relatives who are black, or asian, and he has never had any issue with people of any race. To be honest, I just don't get him at all.

In terms of hearing racism, probably the worst I have ever encountered was from him, which just makes the fact he isn't racist all the stranger.

Most of my ex-flatmates in Calgary were either slightly or full-blown racist, the worst of whom was mulatto himself. I can't stand racism, even if it's in jest, so at times that was a particularly difficult place to tolerate.
"was mulatto himself"

"I can't stand racism"

*shakes head, walks away*
Mulatto's a racist term? Didn't know that. It was what he referred to himself as.

...In hindsight it makes sense.

For the record, is there a non-racist term to describe a person who's half-white?
