Oh, the memories...

T'was a sunny day on grade 9 French class. We were reading random crap on page 14 or something, when a friend a couple desks behind me said "Hey, that guy's wearing make-up". I, in my blatant manner, stated "Well, he must be a fruit". He asked the teacher what I had said. She mentioned that she'd rather not repeat it. So I, louder and even more obnoxiously, stated:

"Well, he must be a fruit!"

I was immediately flamed and trolled by my angry teacher, who in her spaz freak-out fest, was pointing to anti-homophobia signs on the walls and yelling random crap. I was kicked out of the classroom, and told that I would not be allowed to return without a letter of apology.

How, may I ask, were my words homophobic in any way, shape or form? How is the word "fruit" offensive? I said "fruit", which in my mind was (and still is) a simple synonym for "gay person". If I had said "assramming AIDS-spreading homo ******", I would have understood her reaction. But I did not.

Following this incident, I sat having an argument with my vice principal, who I promptly pwned in a philosophical debate regarding my actions. He gave up and called my mommy on me, boo hoo. My mother cared not for the incident. At all.

Eventually, I did write a letter, but not quite a letter of apology. More like a letter of "not my fault if you're offended as shit because you misinterpreted things I said" kind of letter. She just took it and I proceeded through the course, landing a 38 for my final mark, which I strongly suspect was related to this incident.

This whole incident spanned three days, where I proceeded to kick the liberal-fascist system's hollow ass.

Free speech? Pfft...

I don't really know, all I can remember through the fog of my terrible memory is that it involved a lot of repressed urges of incendary and bludgeoning based violences.

I haven't actually been in school for a few years now though, and I'm starting college soon so I should be able to come up with something else soon.

My worst experience would have to be high school. Not because of bullying but because of the crappy teachers. They pissed off all the kids so much that 90% of the good and hardworking kids (including me) just stopped doing all the bullshit busy work and just studied our asses off for tests and exams. I didn't learn a single thing throughout high school.

College is much better than high school imo. The work might be harder but its more rewarding. Unless you have bad luck, then it sucks but still not as much as high school.

thank you for reminding me.
I had an almost mirrored experience.
I was in gr 8 french class, when some homophobe started to make fun of mimes and how they were all "faggots" cause they wore "makeup"
I like playing devils advocate.
I piped up about how all "breeders"(my way of saying straight people) need to be mass exterminated because all they do is fuck and not take responsibility for their actions(meaning the children they sire). I offended most everyone in that class. then the principal came and started to...well tried to lecture me about why its wrong to blah blah blah.....I asked him how many of his children were planned. He said none. what does that have to do with it?
me:"the day every child on this planet is planned, and taken care for is the day I will start listening to your crap about "ethics".
Im straight, and no I dont actually think like this.

My school has always been full of assholes. Guys would look down at me, girls would laugh at me, and the only support i had was a select few friends. I was bullied once, but then he left and i never saw him again. And school only got bad for me when i left Wales and came back to Scotland... But anyway, once i got to about 3rd 4th year I became quite an introvert and waaaay too cynical. that's when all the shit stopped. Now I have my friends, and everybody else can suck it. Moral of the story? Stay in Wales.

I think she's trying to say that she had a very bad time of high school and it would take a while to read the 4 foot list of disappointments to you.

Secondary/High school was quite boring ,however when you get into higher education the dickheads aren`t there anymore making the whole experience a lot more fun

Gee, i start high school in about 5 days so all these stories are REALLY making me look forward to this experience. But then funny stories my dad tells do the opposite.

But i go to a school where sports are EVERYTHING. And lucky me! I am blessed with zero athletic ability. Which i wouldnt mind if the school wasnt so focused on sports. So I am automatically downgraded as soon as i stepped in to the middle school to DORK!

But I have a temper, and i got sort of tallish/muscley-ish over this summer, so i should be left alone for the most part.

But my worst memory so far was probably when i got pissed and hit a kid in gym class just as the gym teacher was looking over. But it was unprovoked (physically at least) so i thought my dad was going to beat me. With a lawnmower. But nothing really happened other then the dissapointed talk. Dad's cooled off since i was 4.

Why the hell did you stab someone with a pencil?
cause he was pulling on my sweater and he kept saying "JoN! JON! LOOK HERE! JOOOOOON!!"
so my natural passive aggressive reaction was to bury a pencil in his arm, why do you ask?

Hm. I really can't say. There's not much happening in my school life because no one dares go near the "silent emotionless freak".
But what can I say? It's middle school, you know how people are.

i was home schooled for like the first 5 years on when i would have gone to school... then after my parents split i had to go which was at the start of secondary school (high school)... and the worst part was getting teased for the way i speak cos i'd just moved into that area and people there have very strong accents so to them i suonded riciulous...
