Okay, so we see plenty of threads here about games you've regretted buying... what about those you've regretted selling?

I personally have re-bought CoD 4 and Oblivion. Next on my list to re-buy are Dead Space, Fallout 3, and maybe Splinter Cell Double Agent (story about this below in spoilers). Also, I might re-buy some original Xbox games that I loved like 007: Everything or Nothing and Road to Hill 30.

Okay, your choices?

I've actually never sold Double Agent, but I have extraordinarily bad luck with the game. Before I knew that doing the tango with your Xbox would cause it to shatter the disc, I tried moving mine off a small shelf once while it was running the game. Bad decision. I bought it again, this time at $30. I got to Africa and the disc wouldn't work. I took a break for 2 years after getting my money back and then bought another used copy. Well, the same damn thing happened. "Africa?", my disc said. "Fuck no!". So yeah, that's my saga.

I sold Red Dead Redemption during a recent promotion at Gamestop where, if you traded in a game and put the trade in value towards pre-ordering any of the E3 picks, they'd up your trade in value by 50%. I managed to get the collector's edition of Arkham City paid off, but by the time I got home, I was having a serious urge to play some RDR. I'll probably re-buy it sometime soon.

Arc the Lad Collection. I found out afterwards Working Designs was no more, so I felt I should've held on to that game. Actually, ALL the Working Designs games I've had and sold go into this category: Alundra, Lunar: SSSC, Lunar 2: EBC, God those were great games. Grandia for the PS1 as well, it took me years to finish that game and it was worth it(though now I have it on PSN).
