Worst Skyrim Gameplay commentary EVER!

I'm not getting "uppity" about it, I was just curious to what you guys say, if you look at the comments on the Gamespot site, those are terrible sure i personally do not like it (other then the new gameplay footage) but I'm not trying to start a war, I was just curious to see what you all say >.>

I never understand why disagreements always turn into flame-wars, I guess that's the internet =P

I wouldn't comment on the Graphics just yet as the video was bad quality. but those two guys i mean wow >.> tree people, calling the shout "magic" , saying it was the duel handing feature. I hope they get strung up and shot =D

Oh and I hope you are not comparing the Graphics with games like COD or racing games, because that's hardly fair =p

Say something that dramatic, and yes, it'll catch attention, but it'll also cause everyone that disagrees with you to do so in a more aggressive manner in answer to your own aggressively made point.

You'll have to explain your point even better, because it seems to me that it's two people who are interested in gaming getting enthusiastic about a game from a series they're not familiar with.

In fact, this is proper game journalism as it has two people who don't have preconceived notions about what an elder scrolls game should be, and looking at it from a neutral, non-fanboy point of view.

they got many things wrong even at the beginning with Ice shout NOT magic etc.

What kind of shouts are they?

Oh yeah. MAGIC shouts.

apparently they didn't bother to watch interview on GTTV.

Which is not necessary to break down video game footage.

If i were on their place i would have been ashamed of myself for not researching, talking out of ass basically and NOT delivering proper representation of game and it's features to the viewers.

Again, they're discussing gameplay footage, without any sort of 'This game is going to be bad' prejudice. They're not there to discuss anything else.

Let me get this clear: There is a burden to be had with demonstrating game-related media to the public, however it stops well before the point where you get so bogged down with technicalities that you're on a forum trying to incorrectly argue that magic shouts are not magic.

Yeah those guys weren't very good, but I was more distracted by the gameplay;

....When you say that, it almost like you were expecting a DA2 combat style.

*Graphics don't look that impressive compared to games that have come out years ago.

Are you surprised? seriously, are that surprised!? Bethesda are not known for cutting edge graphics and they have to deal with hardware limitations because of the consoles.

God, they sounded pretty bored for guys who state they are excited about the game.

Apart from that they should compare gameplay to other Elder Scroll games to illustrate how mechanics were improved or what's completely new. The only thing coming close to this was the 'Dungeons by professionals'-thingy.

DRAGON Shouts (words of power sort of dragons battle language) are not magic because it's whole different system. Using them is not tied in with you Magicka(mana), shouts obtained DIFFERENTLY some shouts not even magic like calling named dragon ally. it's all about researching what you will be talking about it's their job and you apparently don't know what you are talking about too, try researching skyrim before talking about it's battle systems.
and watching GTTV interview with Todd Howard was necessary and crucial to brake down footage.

Yeah, this is actually embarrassing to watch, it's almost as if they are trying to just describe what they see without ever having heard of, read about. or played any of the elder scrolls games. I'm even more shocked that it comes from gamespot, who in my experience are pretty good with their previews.

lol it looks like this was the first time they saw it, and they could at least get it right and not call Shouts "Magic" or not make it to obvious that they haven't played the previous like calling them tree people >.> or saying they haven't seen these before.(they where in the previous 2 TES games)

They aren't stating that the freezing is the result of Magicka. They are stating they are magic. In order to prove that these aren't magic, you need to prove that they are scientifically plausible. Not science=magic.

i'm not arguing that it's not magic i'm arguing it's DIFFERENT system as it's don't tie in with how magic in game USED. IN GAME if it's uses Magicka it's magic if it's not uses it, it's not magic + spells and shouts are obtained differently. person in this video misrepresents magic system and shout system just because thay didn't bother to research OR listen properly because you and clearly hear ice SHOUT and don't see spell in other hand.

I think he means in the way or not magic like how they said it was apart of the new duel wielding feature, how you equip the magic like a weapon, the shouts you do not. so in this context it is not magic, in real life it would be magic, but alas we are talking about the gameworld's description not real life =P

I was worried for a moment about the "ice spell," but as it's a shout instead (and therefore balanced with a long recharge timer), bravo!
