Worst tasting diet cola

Diet soda is generally not near as good as its sugary and caloric cousin. Some are tolerable however while others are just plain nasty. I think I discovered the worst I have ever had. Clover Valley brand Diet Cola from Dollar General.

What is your pick for the worst tasting diet cola in the universe?

Diet coke. God..awful. I love me some Diet Dr. Pepper though. Delicious!

All of it...why in hell would anyone drink diet? If you like soda, just limit your drinking of normal stuff, not that terrible chemical-laden shit.

Good Question. The worst I've ever had would probably be this generic brand I got at a dollar store. Not that I'm really complaining about it -- it was a 3 liter bottle for $1. I got exactly what I paid for.

Oh, by the way, if you open it up to diet caffeine free soda? Diet Caffeine Free Pepsi is far and away the worst cola I've ever had, and one of the worst beverages period.

Finally, the best diet cola, in my experience, is Diet Rite. It tastes somewhere between regular Coke and regular Pepsi, and is one of my favorite colas period. RC cola is pretty good, too.

Diet colas are always really bad unless they have a cherry or lime flavoring or something. The lemon-lime sodas aren't bad diet sodas though. Sprite Zero is the only soda I still drink...

I happen to enjoy the taste of most diet sodas.

I'll take diet wild cherry Pepsi over the normal.

I can't even drink regular Dr. Pepper. Its quite possibly my least favorite soda. But I love diet Dr. Pepper.

Worst tasting diet cola though? Hmm. I don't like diet coke one bit (though I'm not a big fan of coke in general). I'm going to go with diet coke. I'm sure that there is some small, unheard of brand of soda who's diet is worst, but I can't recall any names off the top of my head. So diet coke it is.

I love Diet Rite! I wouldn't call it my favorite, but its up there.

I don't like diet coke. I don't really like non-diet coke either though. Not sure why, think there might be something wrong with me =P. I am the only person I know who does not like cola.

I have friends that live on Diet Coke, I can't stand the drink. I can only tolerate a small amount of Coca-Cola too... starts to feel like drinking petrol after a while.

Err I like diet Coke and diet Pepsi which I prefer it over regular Pepsi (way too sweet for me).

OT- The worst I had was this low brand diet cola which just tasted too bland.
