Worst thing that ever happed in your school

One of my history teachers used to have knives and a fake musket in his room and he'd give "bleeding" demonstrations. He actually cut a student and was promptly told to resign. We were thrilled, he was a racist, uberchristian, right-wing conservative in a very liberal school.
Oh in my sophomore year my principle bought thousands of dollars worth of keyboards (I mean the piano keyboards) then stole them in the summer to pay for his luxurious lifestyle. The day before he was fired he gave us a speech about "trust." Shame, he was a nice guy.
EDIT: Oh yeah and the whole wrestling team got herpes from mats that weren't cleaned properly.

This is a tough one. There was one teacher who was sexting students... An underclassman died for no apparent reason after a knee surgery... Someone killed themselves... Some people on the senior trip at Six Flags pissed on some little kids (like 7 or 8 years old I think)... There have been about 50 or so pregnant girls out of a student body of about 500 people in a year and a half... Some dude got hauled off by the police... Students broke into a FEW teacher's houses... Somebody broke a person-sized hole in an upstairs wall... Aaaaaand there was a bomb threat called in. Public school, baby, public school.
I thought my school was somewhat normal, but I found out there was a lot of scandal my senor year which was about 6 years ago now.
1 teacher fired for drinking on the job. his drawer was LOADED with alcohol.
2 teachers fired for kiddie porn
1 teacher charged with sodomy with a 14-15 (somewhere in that age group) year old girl. Same girl was accused of burying a kid in the backyard but that was never confirmed, probably just a high school rumor but I wouldn't put it past her.

We also have a longer history of stabbings. To be fair one of our old buildings used to be a mental hospital before it was knocked down.
A teacher got arrested for hiding in the bushes watching to make sure kids were using the bridge across an 'A' road. The principal had to go bail him out.
In my Junior High, some moron was running through the halls and pushed the doors that had chicken wire running through it and basically made mincemeat out of his arm.
I think the worst one would be the guy in the year above me at high school got arrested under the Terrorism Act back in 2002. Surprisingly the police got it right, they found loads of bomb making info on his computer and some other rather incriminating evidence.
Apart from that I suppose the attempted murder was quite bad, and the drug dealing, and arson, and the theft of 20 brand new computers from the school, and the bloke who got banned from returning to the county after a 6 year "reign of terror", as the papers put it, of vandalism, intimidation and violence against every shop owner in one of the villages.
No, I don't come from a particularly classy area!

Unfortunately my Middle and High schools were both connected by one hallway. Anything the middle school kids did, we also had to suffer. This included some twelve year old using google to search for boobs which prompted the schools to block google and yahoo image search, flickr, and national geographic. Another time a bunch of fourteen year old girls overdose on their parents arthritis pain pills causing both schools to be locked down for about an hour on a Friday afternoon shortly before the day ended. No one could leave, even if they had a car. Some idiots pull the fire alarm five times in one day, it was never figured out who did it. All those incidents happened during my senior year in High school.
Supposedly about twenty years ago someone slipped acid into the coffee of one of the teachers, and now that teacher is the vice principal.
My graduating class had a pretty good senior prank that involved taking the desks from the history and english wings and putting them in the cafeteria. That pissed off the principal who was new, and he threatened that if anything else happened, there wouldn't be a graduation ceremony.
Other than that nothing much, except when I was in first grade a boy in my year died when his house burned down, but I never knew him, and some other incidents involving some people from my high school and drugs, but that was after they graduated.
