The title says it all, Escapists: what is the worst thing you have been accused of that you didn't actually do?

For me, it would be being accused of trying to steal a guy's girlfriend, when I was atually just omforting her beause he was being a massive prat.

Back in school, i was accused by a girl that i kicked her off her bike and spit on her afterwards.

I never understood why she would obviously "frame" me for something like that (i'm very certain that there was no case of mistaken identity, and i'm highly doubtful that someone did the things above to her), even though i never liked her much and vice versa, and thankfully, it did not work anyways.

Someone thought I stole my own bike from the mall. If that's the case why did I have a receipt, a key to the lock I used on the bike, and the people at the bike store I bought it at recall me buying the same bike?

It was cleared up eventually.

And... Oh then there was that explosion in a males washroom, people thought it was me. Why? I recreationalally read a copy of the anarchist cookbook. Although those assumptions proved false when someone admitted to what they did.

Being a drug addict, my first day at college my tutor dragged me out of class to ask if I was on drugs and if I needed help.

Told him i've never done drugs in my life and he says 'Oh well you must just be very laid back then" to which I replied "Guess so".

Well, that was at home.

You see, I have a record of "losing" VERY few things in the living room.

Than, one day, father is trying to find the remote for the TV and gets pissed off, because he usually gets really sick on things real quickly.

He says in a very low and angry voice "Where the hell did you put the remote André?" without even giving me a glance, still looking at the living room table, going through all of the remotes.
I'm sitting at a couch in the end of the living room, never having touched the remote since I was at my laptop.
I say "I didn't do it, that was my brother"

Father replies "Don't blame your brother. Where the fuck did you put it André?" while he goes through all of the remotes on the living table, not being able to find the right remote.
Luckily my brother Daniel sits in the same room so he breaks it up and says "Actually, I last touched it."

Than father suddenly gets back to his normal calm and tired self and raises his eyebrows as he's obviously surprised.
"Really? Well, where is it?" father asks Daniel.

Daniel hands over the remote to my father, but I still felt being neglected for something I've not done.

My mum constantly accuses me of being mean to her because it gives me perverse pleasure and I need to be in control. I tell her over and over again that she's wrong, and she won't believe me. Now normally people saying bad things about me doesn't bother me that much, but when it's my own mother who seems to genuinely think things like...that, it can be a little unnerving.

When i was 9 a teacher was a complete asshole to me. So I told my friends in anger that I'd kill him, and the day after he didn't show up for work. EVERYONE thought I had killed him, it was really wierd Oo. For 3 days all the kids was like really scared of me and wouldn't talk to me, until the teacher showed up again. Turned out he'd been ill.

Still, he was an asshole for the rest of that school year >>. *murders him*

I once burned a kitten factory MOHAHAHAHHAA oh wait I didn't see the n in never, never mind what I just said.

hmmm worst thing I've never done eh?

A crazy middle aged lady said once that I pushed her into a toilet and locked her inside from the outside
( apparently she forgot that this toilet can only be locked from the inside!*facepalm* )
She reported me to the police and everything but since the police had a full binder of "crimes"
she had reported. So I got off free.

I think I can beat this, actually. Er, no offence.

About a year ago I was the victim of a crime and had the police calling on me fairly regulary to collect statements and whatnot. My sleep schedual was pretty screwed up after that week and I was asleep at 3 in the afternoon when I was woken up by the police knocking on my door, I stumbled about getting dressed and opened it... nothing too wrong so far. Problem was, my flatmates had been smoking cannabis that day (yes, at 3 in the afternoon... don't ask me, I didn't choose them; Uni accomodation) and my body chose that exact moment to try to faint.

The effect was that the police had come into a flat STINKING of weed, I had taken an age opening my door and then almost passed out when I did. I tried to convince them I hadn't been smoking any (I honestly hadn't) but I don't think they believed me... luckily they didn't deside to try to prosocute.

Me and two of my friends were accused by a neighbor of "spending some quality time with a 13-year-old" in her house (we were 16+). Of course, this was the same one that accused a friend of mine of walking around having a shotgun when it was an orange-tipped, clear-plastic airsoft gun that was an M4 model to boot. That, among other accusations of the sort had done more than a little bit to hurt her credibility with everyone else in the neighborhood over the years, and they'd not believe a word.

In the course of a couple days I kicked a "friend" of mine out of our band and convinced his girlfriend to break up with him. He ended up getting pretty heavy into drugs after that.

I have stolen a few girls away from their boyfriends only to quickly get bored with them and dump them.

I cheated on my girlfriend, while she was out of town, on her bed, and took pictures. I later went back to her room before she came back into town with said pictures and left them on her bed with a simple message: "bye." She should have never told me where she kept her spare key.

Wow, I am coming off as a huge asshole. I guess people are right about me. Actually all those are from a while ago. The last incident was over five years ago. I have grown a lot since then.

While it is not as bad as the other examples here, I once got accused of throwing a can of cola on the ground. There is a bit of a story behind this:

I was around 11 years old and walking around with my nephew and younger brother. It was carnaval, and because it was rather warm, we all got some cans of cola. We were walking around, on a schoolyard (It was nearby and you had room to play).

There were two other groups of children. One were older, trying to impress each other with how "cool" they were. The others were a bit younger. Eventually, the older ones got bored, threw away the cans they had and left. I didn't really notice, didn't know the guys.

Suddenly, I hear someone, in a really obnoxious voice "Aren't you going to pick that up?".
It was one of the younger kids. I replied that it wasn't mine, that the other group threw it.
The kid then said "Yeah right, then why is there a bee on your costume?" I looked down, saw the bee and flipped out, afraid to be stung.

The younger kids then walked away laughing, thinking that justice had been served (cartoons made you believe that stuff =P)

To this day I can't get over how unfair that was :<

Sheesh, what a rant.

I haven't really been accused of doing anything serious. The worst would probably be any time I get called for a foul/offside in soccer when it doesn't really happen.

I don't have anything really good, but my friend's dog once got a great accusation.

My friend was walking the dog, a 6-month-old black Labrador puppy, when an old guy yelled "Get that mad beast away from me!" My friend calmly said, "He's a nice dog, he won't hurt you" and the man screamed "Yes he will! Stay back!" The man pulled out a big knife, so my friend ran away.

Walking the dog again later that afternoon, my friend sees the old man talking to a police officer. The old man points and says, "That's the maniac now! And that's his crazy Rottweiler that nearly killed me!" The police officer looks over at the dog, happily licking his teenage owner's hand, and says to my friend "Sir, is this the dog you were walking at the time of the incident?"
"Yes."

They spoke briefly, and when the officer found out about the knife, the old man was arrested. Turns out he was recently released from an insane asylum, and he wasn't allowed to own sharp objects.

One time while me and my family were decorating are christmass tree when I was about 9 I threatend to drop a box of really old decerations if my sister kept making fun of me. Just then I lost my grip on the box and droped it shattering almost everything in the box. Later on that day I found out there were some family heirlooms in the box... I felt horrible that whole day.
