All of Valve's multiplayer games.

Now, their single player games are great, and I appreciate how they do business. The games (TF2, L4D 1~2 and Counterstrike) are all really quite good too. I just don't have any fun playing them. Might be the genre, I don't know.

Half Life 1.

Awesome for its time, but I don't think it has aged well.

Is this a thing in progress?
http://forums.blackmesasource.com/showthread.php?t=9827 for those doubting its alive at all... it is ;) check the posting date.. it is VERY MUCH ALIVE!!!

God yes. Half Life 2 is so overrated. Somewhat shallow game-play, dull characters, a gimmicky gun, and paper thin plot with a few massive holes in it. While I enjoyed the first, Half Life 2 definitely stands out as one of the worst Valve games I've ever played.

Probably L4D2. Don't really care for it (never played first) but there was nothing wrong with it, just very average to me, mind you picked up up for less thatn £4 on a steam sale so really no complainats at all.

Valve are gods, they have no errors!

Fair enough, I'll put away the fanboyishm and say L4D2, seems like it could have been done with an expantion pack instead, oh well, I only paid 2 euros for it.

Well, I personally can't stand Counter-Strike (or Counter-Strike: Source) when playing online, but that's more to do with the players than the game. The game itself is pretty solid.

Among friends, I don't mind it.
I agree, the game is good (its solid and can be a blast with friends) but when playing online everyone is "L33T" and and say they played the hell out of 1.6 and all that shit. Then they kill you with one shot while in middair. (sigh) Its a nightmare to play that game.

Team Fortress 2 on the Xbox 360. I mean TF is great, but they give the computer users everything and Xbox gets nothing!

But besides that I love all of Valves games.

Oh, and welcome to the escapist.
That's more MS' fault than anything.

Eh, Alien Swarm? I've played various Valve games and there hasn't been a single one I didn't enjoy, so picking the weakest one is a bit irrelevant, to me at least.

As publisher: Gunman Chronicles. So bad it is not even on Steam.

As developer: same (as co-developer); but I'll pick Ricochet. Ricochet is a bloody pointless mod that nobody plays, and is nothing but a Tron ripoff anyway. Good thing they never tried to sell it (unlike GC). -- Edit: they actually sell this POS for ?/$5 on itself through Steam... wow.

I'm also not a fan of HL:Blue Shit, but we can blame Gearbox and especially the Dreamcast debacle for that one.

For the people saying TF2 on the xbox, you should really look into it on the pc, it runs perfectly on my pretty average laptop. I could never go back to the xbox one now.

Although I've never played it, I would go with Ricochet as well. There just doesn't seem to be all that much there in the way of gameplay. It doesn't seem that bad of a game, just unsubstantial.

wow, I thought you were trolling until I saw your post count.
HL2 is fun on the bun, as are all valve games I've played, though hard pressed I would say alien swarm.
Its just not long enough, a second campaign would do it.

But look at me here picking on free stuff.

Ricochet, most likely. Hell, during an interview with Gabe Newell, after the interviewer rattled off a list of Valve's games, Gabe said "thanks for not mentioning Ricochet." So even Valve knows it's their worst game. XD

Don't mind him, he has some irrational Valve hatred, but never explains why.

I'd have to say Ricochet as well. I tried playing it a little, quite a while ago and just looking at the video below reminds me how hilariously bad it was. So yes, that's my answer, Ricochet.

Why has no one here said Ricochet? It's definitely the worst.

It's just two levels.

I have loved most of valve's games, but I've never really liked the Left 4 Dead series, not saying its a bad game, I like the idea, I was just never a fan of the whole aiming system on the game, I just think it felt unstable. So, if anything, I'd say the L4D games.
