worst video game of 2010?

Saw this thread a few days ago!
Oh well, I'll still nominate Dante's Inferno to be the worst game I've played this year. It was short, the combat was dull and the voice acting of Dante was awful. When I saw the first pictures of the game two years ago I was really excited... such a shame it didn't deliver.

I never got to play a lot of the newer games this year and all the ones iv played iv liked or loved.

Though me and my buddy both like the YGO5D game on the 360.

It didn't need a story because the point was just playing card games.
And it had a HUGE selection of cards and a challenging difficulty.

I'm glad you said that, because playing Metro 2033 is making me realize that there are two types of games on the market these days. Fun games, and Good games. I really can't call Metro 2033 fun, but I really like it a lot. It's a good game. I think the same can be said for Bioshock. Obviously we need games to be fun too, but I think that everything right now is trying too hard to be merely fun. Only the games that are the most fun are sticking out for me (TF2 and Borderlands are my cases in point), and everything else that meets that "fun" requirement is only doing the bare minimum to do so. I feel like the current trend of these games is just making all fun games seem mediocre because when everything meets that fun bar, then everything is just average.

honestly i thoguht prototype was great. the graphics felt weird at points but the gameplay, powers etc made me drool

worst game I played was deadliest warrior but because I played the trail game during a period of time were I was extremely bored so I ended up buying it.

OT: I would have to go with Fallout: New Vegas, yes it's an alright game but it needs heavy mod support to make it feel like a real studio release.

What was your favourite game?

I really liked Mass Effect 2, and while it didn't come out in 2010 I played Dear Esther this year and it's become one of my all time favorite games. I didn't have any games which I truly disliked this year.
