It's like you have to BE the characters inherently in order to properly cosplay them at all, otherwise you just look like a cheap parody (this is especially relevant to characters that are very muscled, have stupid hairdos, huge weapons or are otherwise non-Earthly designed)

Ratchet or Clank or anyone else from their series. You can't really cosplay as 5-foot tall yellow furry alien with gun larger than himself in his hands. I say it is impossible for human to cosplay as Ratchet and still look decent.
Any character from Psychonauts - if you'll try to cosplay any of them without altering your bodily proportions,you'll just look stupid.
Stalker from HL2 - for obvious reasons.
