Worst Weapon Ever

My most useless weapon ever is the Plasma Pistol in Halo, especially Halo 3. The only thing it is good for it taking pot shots at vehicles and occasionally disabling them.

Charge shots take down shields in one hit, it's one of the best weapons in the game.

the assault rifle can take down shields in 5 shots at certain ranges, less time than it takes to even charge the pistol in the first place.

as you mightve guessed ny weapon is the AR. absolutely anyone can use it, just spray and melee = instant kill

Oh, the Chinese Pistol from Fallout 3 was terrible.

The move Splash on Poke'mon Count too? That move was pointless.

All swords weaker than Orc Bane with witch you start, Spear, and tools such as the Scythe in Gothic 3
Blue Rose in Devil May Cry 4 (I passed entire game without using it)
.32 Chinese Pistol in Fallout 3 (Not as useless as weapons in other games, everything is useful in Fallout 3)

Probably most of the weapons in Dead Rising. Don't get me wrong, the game had some great weapons, but for every good weapon, there were at least twelve shitty ones (ex: a teddy bear, a water gun, etc.)

Well, most of the useless weapons were at least amusing. The Fake Mega Buster for example. Totally useless, completely hysterical.

The machine gun in HL2 is so incredibly useless it's baffling. It's recoil is shocking, it's damage is pathetic, and the game tauntingly gives you a million ammo for the steaming pile.

Rail gun - Red Faction. sure its a one shot kill. Sure its a relatively simple weapon to find. But good luck gettin your enemy to stand exactly at attention wearing his extra wide armor so that you can have a hopes of getting that narrow ass beam to hit em

No, they do not. They are incredibly useful. Try throwing one into a crowded room of enemies. They make killing things a lot easier.

so lets start with what i remember

HALO 3: Magnum, Spiker (a.k.a watergun no.1), Needler.
Killzone 2: the ISA pistol.
Half Life 2: Crowbar, Gravity Gun (i guess i'm not that creative as Valve wanted me to be, i just shoot everything with the shotgun).
Condemned 2: Lever action rifle.

i wouldn't say the handgun from far cry is shit... it's useful when you run out of ammo for your other weapons!

the bio rifle from unreal tournament sucks. it's slow(ish) not very accurate and doesn't do much damage.

If it would have been a default weapon i would understand why it is so crap. But to have it as one of the last weapons you unlock, that is just taking the mick... It's worse than an AK and you can't add any attachments.
