I saw some guy said his multi-million dollar NFT collection was stolen, and my first thought was it was an insurance scam to try to cash out.Do bots dream of NFT sheep?
I think a lot of people don't really use discussion boards like they used to - mass social media like Twitter and individual comments sections to individual items have become the favoured media for internetThe Escapist's main site, YouTube and Discord may have been gathering steam these past two years, but the forums are about as bare as they have been for years.
There's like one or two new members that signed up and actually post since April 2020? Don't get me wrong, this place is a good enough haunt for the 20-30 or so regular people who have been coming to the Escapist for a decade or so now, but it's just a back chamber on the internet.
I thought part of the point of the scam is that the worthless chunk of code is unstealable.I saw some guy said his multi-million dollar NFT collection was stolen, and my first thought was it was an insurance scam to try to cash out.
I think they're like cryptocurrency, in that they're just bearer bonds. Whoever physically holds them, owns them. So I assume someone used a flashdrive and just transferred the NFT file itself off their computer, and just has the file now, and owns it.I thought part of the point of the scam is that the worthless chunk of code is unstealable.
Interesting. Usually the thread disappears along with the bot being banned. But as ya say, folk are discussing in here, so it probably makes sense to keep it this time aroundThe mods probably just left the thread here because there isn't anything objectionable in the content (other than dirty robotic lies) and people have been discussing it.
I mean, there's A) no links and B) something resembling discussion value, so I can see why it was left up.The mods probably just left the thread here because there isn't anything objectionable in the content (other than dirty robotic lies) and people have been discussing it.
They are trying to learn how to become human. The first big bot clue though is right in the title, as even the most base humans typically make actual thread titles. Why do bots seem to live such complicated lives?
The thread title kind of reminds me of shitty manga or anime with one of those ridiculously long titles, usually of the trope-ridden isekai trash variety. They are trying to learn how to become human. Pfff, get outta here with that, those are rookie numebers. Try this one for size:Sakigake!! As Long as There's Love, It Doesn't Matter If He Is My Onii-chan, (Right)?
I mean, you don't need to look it up, the plot outline is right there on the cover.Pfff, get outta here with that, those are rookie numebers. Try this one for size:

Don't bother looking it up, it's garbage.
That naming trend needs to go back into whatever hole it came out of...The thread title kind of reminds me of shitty manga or anime with one of those ridiculously long titles
That's probably the best part of these. You can either get the entire plot right away, or in the case of 'Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?' you can just answer them like the question they're framed as with a simple yes/no response. Boom, done, don't need to watch itI mean, you don't need to look it up, the plot outline is right there on the cover.
