Well here's my rant. You used the word religion on the internet. I hate talking about religion on the internet because everyone on it is an atheist who hates on me for believing on God and this is not bashing the atheist belief because I have atheist friends and we get along more than fine because we both know religion is something that doesn't define who you are and that it's not what important when it comes to friendship.
P.S. I don't hate gays and I THINK ATHEISTS AND GAYS CAN GO TO HEAVEN! Sometimes I just want to beat the prejudice out of the loud atheists who hate on Christians cause they think were all Westboro (fortunately that's only a small part of the atheist population, unfortunately it's also the loudest part of the population).

I doubt it. People are making far too big a deal of this, I've never even heard of it and I'm from the same city as the pastor who apparently started it. And why should you question what makes those "Jesus-ween" people happy? Sure it's really cheesy, but that's their business. Just be thankful it's a vast minority making the change. Be thankful it's not the entire public face of your holiday.
As a Christian, I'd like to say these guys don't represent the majority of us. They're nutters, and you find those no matter what religion/country you're in.

It is a Christian holiday, it was turned into a Christian holiday in the early seventh century. Then the holiday was moved to November first and called All Hallows Day in the eighth century and October 31st was called All Hallows Eve, becoming the colloquial contraction: Halloween.
So your religion creates a holiday venerating your most holy members on the same day as another religion, you forget all about it and now you want to turn it into a new holiday? I don't think it works like that, if you want to celebrate a Christian holiday you should be celebrating All Hallows Eve and All Hallows Day.
