Would hell be worse....

I just saw toy story 3. Not the first sentence you thought you would read eh? (FANTASTIC movie by the way. Go see it. You don't have something better to do, this is more important)

Well without spoiling anything, their is a moment where the toys are having a hard time (A REALLY hard time) and they see other toys living happily.

This is obviously an homage to heaven and hell.

It got me thinking, would hell be worse if you could SEE heaven?

Would it be like the ultimate tease? What about the people in heaven? Would they be be able to see their noisy neighbors?

I dunno. Maybe The people in hell try to invade hev- what am I saying? Am I writing BIBLE fan fiction!?

Ya ever heard the expression "Hell on Earth"? As in "The Rapture will come, yadda yadda, Hell on Earth?" That's exactly what they were talking about.

I bet if people in heaven and hell could see each other, they'd have a game in heaven where you'd see how many people you could get to loose it because of how much you tease them.

OT: Yeah of course it would be. Nothing would be worse than eternal damnation except eternal damnation whilst watching people miles better off than you are.

Well, my version of Hell is a black room for eternity. Doing nothing at all. Just there. In the dark. With nothing to do.

So, no, I would rather see the people in Heaven. That way it would be like a tv show!

Honestly I'd rather be in hell. You get to hang out with some really cool dudes like Hitler and Atila the Hun. I mean who cares if heaven is in sight.

If the christian bable is to be believed I'd say that heaven wouldnt be able to see into hell but into purgatory and the same for hell.

No. If Hell was half as bad as they say it is, you wouldn't be able to think through the intense pain enough to even realize you could see heaven.

I think you would be too busy burning and screaming to notice.

I doubt the heaveners would see the hellers as then they would be sad for them, if they had any remorse. Which if they got into heaven, I presume they would.
