I loled..

OT I would, if it was a last resort, or I was forced/tricked into it. That said, I would prob not actually know until the situation arises... (If it does..)

Alot of people are going "Oh, gasp, it's so bad, I wouldn't do it I had to!"

I on the other hand, would probably try some assuming it was the normal thing to do, or if there was a hot enough girl persuading me to do so.

I'm terribly impressionable/crazy.

I'd eat anything if it tasted good.
Last resort, eating cooked meat? Even if it is human, hell yes!

Yes. Not on a whim and I couldn't kill someone, but if they were already dead and I was dying then yes.

I've have a similar argument for organs from deceased people. Their dead, they are not going to need it.

No, because of for a project i did, i had to develve into the mysteries of eating human flesh, and it turns out you go insane... so pretty much eating flesh/brains to much makes you insane aka a zombie

I had this conversation with a friend just the day and I said yes, if my life depended on it. Likewise, if I were dead, I wouldn't be the least bit offended if it extended someone else's life. But if they're doing it for funsies, I'm going to give them a raging case of indigestion.

For a recent paper I did, I read upon cannibalism extensively. According to various people who've had to cannibalise others, i.e. the survives of the plane crash in the Andes human meat is most often described as tasting similar to beef. While others liken it to pork in taste and texture, hence the term 'long pig'.

Other fun facts:

The most calorie intensive part of the body are the brains. So if you're watching your waist line avoid 'em.
Rotting human meat was described as tasting like a really rank cheese. (that one grossed me out to no end)

Yeah, but only in 2 situations.

1. I don't know it's human.

2. It's the only way to survive after a plane crash in the Andes.

Plus, I've always wondered what it tastes like. >:D

EDIT; So here's an even more discusting question: would you eat a part of your own body in order to survive?

(I read a Stephen King short story...)

As a last resort yes, but from what I know of meat carnivores & omnivores have a particular aroma/fragrance that I find rather repulsive. Unlike herbivores.

Nah, to me eating the flesh of a fellow human would be overstepping boundaries of morality and taste.

What human tastes like is one of my pressing life questions in all honesty. I'm horribly curious if we're tasty.

Cannibals do call us long pork for a reason though...

No. Our position at the top of the food chain means that we are subject to a great deal of toxic bioconcentration.
