Freeman, Calhoun, Alyx, Issac Kleiner, and of course, DOG
From not Valve games, there isn't much to pick from. Well, Olimar, Travis Touchdown (Even though that game sucked), pretty much the entire Dynasty Warriors cast, and Daxter from the Jak(And Daxter) series.
Also, just Warhammer Orks in general.

Would NOT miss:
Snake, Master Chief, Fenix, Altair, Prince of Persia, all space marines ever, Arthas, Illidan, Nathan Hale, the mute moron from Dead Space. All the emotionless manly men.

I would miss Mario the most because I just cannot imagine the world without him including Mario Galaxy is the best game on the Wii.
