The lack of either would be very annoying. I think I'd rather have no legs at all than no knees, because without knees, they're just useless and would only look awkward. Without knees, I'll just drive around in a wheelchair.

My arms are precious. If I had no knees I could still play on my PC. Besides, prosthetic legs are a lot simpler and cheaper and easier to get used to than prosthetic arms.

no knees - i can get prosthetic shins, and walk semi-normally.
if i had no elbows i couldnt do shit about it. (dont bother saying "get a hook for a hand". Would you be satisfied with that?)
