Would you REALLY survive a zombie attack?

I think I'd survive until the zombies found me, as there's jack shit for guns here in Canada. Although I could go North and let the Polar Bears take care of them. I will become an eskimo.

what part of canada are YOU living in? what are you talking about shit all guns...practically everyone i know has a firearm of some sort... and if you walk into the sporting goods department of any big place like canadian tire or walmart there's enough ammo there to arm a friggin militia....

Northern Ontario. We have 1 Canadian Tire, and 1 Wal Mart between 200k people or so in my town. The hundred or so guns they each store won't last long. And I barely know anyone that owns a gun.

In a few years i may spend a few grand making a bite-proof kevlar suit, sort of a like a superhero costume, to become immune to biteyness! I'm a little crazy when it comes to these things.
Also i would'nt advise sharp weapons, i mean splatter has got to carry the infection, cricket bats all the way.

As for myself, i think i would hold out. Ive got a huge plan formed up with a bunch of friends (over many drunken nights in). We even have a list & map. As i say, i may be prepared, but once it does come im unsure im practiced enough..

I might go anger the old folks down at the home, that should simulate a zombie attack, right?

Honestly, my only real concern would be that I don't have quick access to any weapons. It all comes down to whether or not I could survive long enough to get armed and to somewhere safer.

Most likely I'd die pretty quick, but if I managed to survive more than a few hours I'd probably be one of the last people left alive in the world. I have an incredible willingness to do what needs to be done, I just don't have a gun. I am near a military base though, so finding something useful doesn't seem like that much of a stretch.

It depends if it was just in my country or city I would survive(or at least try to) but if it was global I would be dead before you could say bang I wouldent be able to stand it and what would be the point.

All windows in my house have bars, the walls are made of concrete and on the outside there's a zombie-proof concrete wall with even more bars, so it would be pretty safe. It is also in front of a supermarket (which has glass doors), so I'd have supplies for a while if I managed to get across the street (which might be a slight problem, yes). There's also a gun store 3 blocks away, so I'd probably need a car to get there.
I have lots and lots of leather and thick clothing that could protect me from random bites and scratches, a neat sword, and the Zombie Survival Guide (which would be useless, I know).

So yeah, if the army blew everything up: I'd die. If I ran out of supplies: I'd die. If I got sick: I'd probably die. But at least I'd have a chance!

Depends on the time frame, if it was a short-term outbreak (Shaun of the Dead, one night) I would just go up into my attic and be absolutely fine.

Long term..not so much.

I'd first be horribly scared at first if they were fast moving and screamed and never go anywhere.
A good chance I would die because there are no weapons in my house or anywhere in my village
although if they were the slow one's and they got my dog then I'd go insane and beat the zombies to death with my bare hands to get revenge.
And a survivor killed my dog for food I'd roast him or her alive. then go on a rampage and by rampage I mean fight to death or got eaten.

In various zombie threads I have read, people post that they would pwn any zombie that comes their way. Well, I have been watching a few zombie flicks and I have to say, would people really survive something like this ( Also, were talking Insanitarium, 28 Weeks Later type zombies)

Would your sanity be able to stand the relentless screaming and moaning? Would you be able to take watching your love ones become eaten? Would you truly be bale to stay in a house where the family who previously stayed in had committed suicide to avoid a much more violent death?

SO...thoughts?

Real zombies would be more terrifing especially when you saw police firing into their chest and having no effect whatsoever and you try hitting a moving bobbing bullseye in a trahsed street bodies littering the floor around you and the screams of the dying coming from near bye youd shit yourself

SO if a screaming maniac ran at you, attempting to bite your face off, you wouldn't shit your pants? It has to be a maniac from the grave before a turd comes flying form your ass?
