Would you survive Silent Hill?

I don't know it all depends on all the nasty things the town throws at me but if I survive ill go to it again so I can use all the cool stuff I "unlocked"

Well... I think I might actually would have survived the town and all it's horrors; it's the aftermath of the "nightmare" that scares me. My mind would probably have been scarred forever, and I'd have bad dreams just about every night, eventually ending up as an insomniac, finally resulting in me going Jack Walters and kicking the bucket before someone even thought of getting me committed and sent to the nearest nuthouse.

The are two possible outcomes for me:
1. I'm so scared that I hide in the nearest corner, while trembling in utter horror until I get killed.
2. When I get near it, I get already really scared and wouldn't even consider going into the town, so I run away as fast as I can.

No one has what it takes, except perhaps an unimaginative buffoon. This is assuming you are screwed up enough that the city comes calling for you.

Actually many people have what it takes to survive Silent Hill. 8+ games later and we have watched everyone from pregnant teenagers to disturbed schizophrenics make their way through the town relatively unscathed.
With each new game the ominous power of Silent Hill diminishes because with each new game more and more people overcome Silent Hill. Just like the Sephiroth vs. Kefka argument: Kefka has only died once and never resurrects, but Sephiroth, regardless of his power, cannot excuse the simple fact that for each time he came back he still has his arse kicked thoroughly each time.

Despite Word of God saying that Silent Hill is getting STRONGER. <<

Let me go trough a few years of combat training, survival training and self-built weapon and armor course.

I'd use all that training to kill myself, so I wouldnt die horribly from the town.

Seeing as how I'm not a dumbass protagonist, but a smart, resourceful psycho, I'd survive in Silent Hill.
I'm pretty much used to being mindfucked (thanks to all of the people from school), so I'd be immune to the monsters that were created from my psyche.

since all of the silent hill protagonists were everymans i'd say i would be able to survive too.
maybe not since i got a much more fucked up imagination and because i'd probably try to beat everything to death instead of running..
