I donno... I like what they did with warriors. Some of the changes did seem a bit unneeded though.

I'm quitting WoW within a month. It makes no difference to me even if I play a class that, if anything, got improved by this patch (Priest).

Hm. I might pick WoW up again once the new thing comes out, but I haven't played it for a long time so I don't know about the recent patch =p. I'm a bit excited about seeing the revamp of the main territories, cause exploring and seeing the world was what I enjoyed the most OO.

This, pretty much. I basically just made tons of alts. There's actually end game zones I've never even set foot in, because I really just made new characters to go around in all the lower-level stuff. If it wasn't being revamped, I'd be out for good, having not played in quite some time. (march, I think)

I'm having good fun with the new patch. I have several 80s but I love leveling more than anything so having all the trees as viable questing trees now is nice. Arcane mage leveling is a blast. Love 1-2 shotting everything now.

They like totally nerfed the pali, the armor of virginity is now only a +14 and that's like total bullshit, you know?

Actually got no idea what the patch is, I merely wanted to point out the absurdity of the "they nerfed it all" post types before they start to rain in.

Well I think they released it a bit too early, as there are many bugs stil roaming about. Although I like many of the changes, such as your spellbook telling you when you can get new spells. I also like the new mastery system, but mourn the loss of the old twink pvp specs that required points in more than one tree. They finally made pally's step down a peg too(as much as I love them, got a prot one myself). For the most part though, its pretty much the same, with reduced talant trees and a new interface for many things.

Aside from the bugs, it's awesome. It's made everything more powerfull, made the rogue's far too OP however, and made you need more skill to actually play it properly, with specialised talents that you need to think about, rather than just put some talents in wherever you feel like it.
I love it.

I find it hilarious how Blizzard succeeded on making the game freeze if you now try to click on a Dungeon trigger, such as the Hallowed Man's Jack-o-Lantern in his own season Dungeon.

My whole party froze from attempting to right click it, and they were all like "im not clicking that, lol"
Happy times...

Nah, I'm still waiting on getting my gold back from all the Rank Skills I've bought so far ( standing up to 1,5k gold surely,) from the skills now scaling up to your level and only have to be bought once.

Too many people complaining about balance right now. The game is NOT balanced for level 80 anymore, it's balanced for level 85. The band-aid fixes that rolled out a few days ago were just that: band-aids, a stop-gap to keep people from being useless during the short period before Cataclysm is released. If you want to play a balanced game, then you should take a break until Dec. 7th, when the game becomes balanced again.

I'm not saying it's perfect. Some pretty obvious issues and bugs need to be resolved. However, considering how ridiculously huge this patch was, it's pretty impressive overall.

Plus I've made 200,000 gold this week selling glyphs. 4.0.1 is pretty alright in my book.

Down??!?! Are you kidding?! lol.

May main is a Prot Paladin, he is pulling so much crazy shit now that the patch came out. First of all I am loving the Holy Power charge up system, those who don't need to stop whining and just learn how to use it, then they will realize how awesome it truly is. With a fully charged Shield of the Righteous I am now hitting some 40k Critical hits! ON A TANK! lol that is ridiculous. Not only that, Word of Glory, which is also a charge-up ability, but a healing one instead of a damaging one, has some very nice bonuses. Firstly, it saves your Lay on Hands for really desperate situations, and secondly, it also gives you a temporary bubble that will absorb damage equivalent to any overhealing received after it's activation. We are still terribly OP tanks. (This needs to be specced into though, there is a talent)

Not only that, I was running dungeons on my lvl 76 Death Knight (which is also still pretty damn powerful in Dual Wielding Frost Spec) and the Paladin tanks in each group I was in were doing a good 1.5 DPS consistently throughout the instances. (both on trash and bosses!)

Paladin Tanks are doing very, very well right now I think, and I hope Blizzard keeps them that way, I don't want to have to suffer like we did in The Burning Crusade. I think the Balance is pretty good on us too since a lot of the DPS classes got some major DPS increases, we'll need this to keep threat properly.

I meant in general. I was not talking about the tank spec. While a bit different, like you said, the tank spec is pretty OP atm. Same with ret as well, I was mostly just refering to the removal of a couple abilities and the relience on the holy power mechanic. Otherwise yeah. My main is a mage though so...I dont read into it much. Mages are about the same it seems, as usual, except for the arcane missile mechanic, its pretty much the same.

Things are different. and people are having a hard time adjusting. I tire of all the bitching. and the bugs

And dying while stunned to go into spirit of redemption to be permastunned.

past that, I like the patch, it's made the game a little more interesting. I have more stuff to choose from, and they really destroyed the padding on spells so I do have to choose different spells for different situations.

...Oh except Heal. Heal can just eat me.

im suprised your not more upset by the reduced 280% cost (its only 200g now)
Us warlocks didn't get our gold back when the change came in for pets to recieve automatic skill rank upgrades. I don't know why it would be any different for the change to class skill ranks, either.

Also: Yay soulshards!

Love it.
Just made a new dwarven paladin. And all the changes just seem awesome.
I never cared much for high end raiding. But I still manage to kick ass with my warlock in heroics.

My tank is now twice as hard to play, and thank feck for that no more 9696 rotation of dull rotations are for dps not tanks.

It has it's problems, a few tweaks here and there would be nescessary, but i'm overall enjoying it. (Druid & Hunter) xxx
