How faked is it? Why is it faked? do you even think its faked? evidence please

I was watching TNA Impact because i didnt really have anything else to do at the time and though the girls..or some of em are really hot, there isnt much other reason to watch the show. I was watching it and some of the moves and to be honest-those guys should be dead. Whats your view?

It's not 100% fake it is scripted though, the moves are designed for minimum pain and heres another clue. It's wrestling ENTERTAINMENT.

The Majority of the actual wrestling is real, of course allowances have to be made to make it more entertaining, and the outcomes are predetermined for the benefit of story, which again contributes to the entertainment factor. Predetermined outcomes can also take away from the realness of it, but all things considered the actual wrestling portion of it is very real.

Wrestling is the same as any soap opera instead you have muscly bears instead of menstrating women. It's not meant to be 100% real, it's all scripted and all planned out. It's a drama, you have to let your imagination run free while you watch.

On topic: Everyone knows it's scripted. I enjoy it because I take it for what it is - entertainment, nothing more.

Elaborating on apsham's comment, it became predetermined in the 1920s (until then, matches could last for 2-5 hours while consistin postly of defensive rest holds, but after the matches became predetermined the promoters could give the titles to the most popular wrestlers and matches could consist of more action). Vince McMahon also said wrestling was predertermined in the late '80s during legal proceedings which aimed to lift some sort of tax which he had to pay due to wrestling being classed as a sport.

I would think it would have something to do with the excessive rubbing and grunting. The low amount of clothing does not help.

If swimmers had to latch onto each other while swimming then it would also look pretty wrong. There just isn't something right with two grown men aggressively hugging and grunting.

I find it to be pretty boring along with the american college style of wrestling which consists of just holding each other with an odd hat on. UFC is where it is at!
