Problem is I when I sign in to watch a video (usually when there is a new "Brawl" episode), I don't bother signing in. So I am listed as watching three. And only a few other shows.

And to address the others: I wouldn't really say it's because they are desperate for you to watch the video, so much as they are rewarding you for taking the time out of your day to watch it. The views have nothing to do with it, it's the viewers.

Maybe its just me being a new person on EM, and that I don't really hang out in many forums, but who cares if they feel like they want to give out something to the members in appreciation for them watching their videos. I mean obviously someone took the time to design these badges. We should appreciate the effort not jump to conclusions that they are just to get more hits for their content.

I'm not a big fan of The Escapist Show or Muses, and seriously badges aren't going to make me want to watch them any more just to get badges. Yes I know that there are some that would watch everything for the badges, but I'm sure that is a small few.

Again I realise that I am new, and I still have the new members mind set that a lot of you veteran members don't have anymore, but I personally like the fact that now not only do I get to watch the content of EM that I love, I also receive a nice little bonus badge that shows how much of a fan I am of the shows.

People seem to forget that there's more to the Escapist than ZP.
Whether it's an attempt to get more views or not, I don't care. As long as there are more people watching the amazing shows, I'm happy.

I miss meaningful badges, badges you could show with pride, with dignity. I remember The Matrix badges, towering over the banned and the suspended. I remember I never got one of the The Matrix badges.
