WTF Gas Cap

Okay so last night I was at the gas station getting some gas. I get out of my car open the hatch (the thing that covers the gas cap) and twist the cap to the left to take it off so I can get gas, problem is, the gas cap isn't coming off, I try just about everything I can think of and nothing works, so my question is, does anyone know whats wrong? Can anyone help me? I can't think of how I would even get it off, twisting it to the left always worked before!

It's probably stuck or something. Just get a wrench and use that for leverage.

It might be frozen. Try heating it up with a lighter..........(obviously don't)

Sometimes an attendant or even you might have screwed it on way too tight. It might feel like it won't turn but you just have to put some extra muscle in it. Like a pickle jar.

Oil it, and use a wrench of some sort (monkey wrench?) to get it off.
