I was playing Resident Evil 4 and I had to defend a house, but didn't feel like sitting down stairs so i camped the staircase. Well I turned around to pick up some ammo, and i saw a zombie run up the stairs right past me and jump out the second story window.

There's an easter egg in fallout 3 where if you walk into a factory there's a stopped convearbelt with teddy bears on it. One of the teddy bears has its face in the crotch of another bear and that bear has a bottle of whiskey in its hands. Those horny little rascals.

In Far Cry 2 I remember watching one of the guard guys walk over to some rocks and what appeared to be him.. Jerkin' His McGerkin... I'm not sure if I was just seeing it completely wrong, but I shot him anyway and moved on with a very confused look on my face.

How about the guy in FC2 that's stuck underneath a rock with only the top of his skull sticking out of the top. He could still shoot me, even though I couldn't shoot him.

Also: the glitches in Assassin's Creed 1.

That was one of the sanity tricks, the game would fool you into thinking that your save file was corrupted, i.e. that you'd lost it. Then the screen flashes and everything's all right.

WTF? I've had some of the technology buttons change around and units spawn with double the maximum allowed, but kittens? Have you been pranked by the devs? Heh

One of mine had to be in the old tomb Raider games - excessive cheating caused all the walls to appear plastered in dinosaur wallpaper :S

I'm not sure how familiar you are with the game. In the game you had a "sanity meter". If you didn't perform "finishing moves" on monsters (and you only have a limited time to do so) you lose sanity. The less sane you are the more the game starts to fuck with you.

When you just lose a little sanity, maybe the walls will jiggle or something. Later they'll start to bleed, then maybe limbs and body parts start falling from them. Previously stationary statues and paintings will come alive and watch you. Other paintings will turn into demonic and disturbing versions of them.

Random stuff also happens too. For instance, the game will put a bug on the screen, so it looks like there's an insect on your TV. It will appear to switch off and is just a black screen with "VIDEO" on the top right. And my favorite is that the game just stops, has some official looking screen with a hex dump and says that your save data was corrupted and had to be erased.

You stand there like what?? Then it snaps back to the game and your character freaks out. Some other stuff it does is say you enter a hall, it's full of ammo! You collect it happily, but it turns out your guy just hallucinated and never actually entered the room. Or it tells you that the controller is unplugged, or your character slowly shrinks, or they rip off their head and recite hamlet.

It's an amazing game and like no one played it

A freaky thing that happend was when I played Batman Arham Asylum. They just Phyco Mantis you insanly. I don't want to say what it is because I can't put up spoiler boxes, but it is super crazy.

Also, getting the Firelance in Fallout without knowing what it as at level 5 was pretty WTF?

Out of all the things I've seen, the most random would probably be in Halo 2 on the Zanzibar Map. If you set the date to July 7, 2007, you'll find a sign that has picture of a decapitated dog head that says "Are you Finding Ling Ling's Head?"

Also the Negative Zone in the original Super Mario Bros was a really crazy easter egg back in the day.

Suddenly the screen glitches up, and the begining of the game plays, only instead of Batman capturing Joker, it is joker catching batman. You then play as the joker, and batman is chained up to the moving table thing. After a inspection from the scarecrow, the game switches ot first person and you get shot in the face by the joker. The game goes to the game over screen,and the hint says. "Press the middle stick to dodge the bullet. You press restart, and you see batman come out of a grave, starting a scarcrow leval.[/spoiler]

To name just one, I was going up a ladder, a smoker was above me tugged, but there was a small ledge obstructing the view, that could EASILY be shot through, or just take 5 steps back,I was hanging there until I died, I had full health and it was on Advanced, with just me and the AI.

The fuck is that shit. =[

This. Me and my friend where playing that game trying to beat that last stand part where you're waiting for the boat in the swamp level for like 2 hours. At the end I got downed by the tank (which I killed) and ellis was literally two inches away from me, but he decided it was more important to shoot at common infected than to pick me up, and my friend was on the other side of the fence, so he had to run all the way around and by then it was too late. Plus they never pick up defib units and are extremely picky about which health packs they'll use.

I know exactly what you are saying.

While running through the mall I was grabbed by a smoker and as soon as i was grabbed all the AI players except the infected literally died right in front of me. So I had to wait and die...it sucks

I have a new one for the both of you to marvel at.

I was slammed by a charger, being pounded, nick was RIGHT next to me, like in a metres distance, and was just looking in the oppostie direction, no zombies at all, just admiring the view.

The other team mates were trying to get out of a room with a door.

So I was just going "OH COME ON!" for about 10 seconds, until I died, and then the second I died NICK FINALLY F***ING TURNED AROUND...only to be punched in the face and essentially knocked down.

It's a Charger ffs... *Scowls menecingly*

Thanks for the clarification, and yes, it is a trully WTF? moment. I was like "OH NO I GOT A VIRUS!" or "OH NO I HAVE A GLITCHED GAME!"

Fallout 3, I just passes two teddy bears tied to a train track with a little picket sign saying "Help Us" and a garden gnome with a camera looking at them. I think there's a few of these Garden Gnome scenes about, but I've yet to disscover t'others.

My first experience with Fallout 3 had me stumble across some of these escaped slaves pretty quickly. I had a character loosely themed to follow in the footsteps of the Father (doctor/scientist). When they asked me to help them, and disarm their collars, of the options I was given read something like "I'll try," "No way," then then the Skill choice. I went for the skill choice cause I coulda swore it said; "[For Science!]"

Then their heads exploded. O_O

I was over encumbered at the time, and slowly walked away towards Megaton.

Those slaves in fall out 3. I did a bloody liberation, then I went to release slaves. Then slaves said "Where my turkeys biscuits?" Or something goofy. I thought "Wait wait wait, there has to be a way to free them, i didn't take out a city full of quest, bation, and stuff to buy for nothing. Well I couldn't find a way to free them (maybe a science level needed?)I was able to free the kid slaves though...

Does anyone know how to free those guys?

fallout 3, I killed a enemy with a VATS head shot with the silenced 10mm and he hit the ground, had a "seizer" stood back up, launched in the air, and hit the ground in front of me exploding into 1000's of gibs, and his buddy's did not notice anything was up because I was "HIDDEN", I SOOOO wish I had fraps or something or would have hit print screen......if I was not laughing so fing hard.
