i felt like i wasting a episode of totally spice
i don't mind seeing that every once in a while do, but for 100 hours.
but the biggest nail to the coffin was not having the ability to summon aeons, just fight them.
but i already tough a black version of aeons's in final fantasy X.
if you can look past those 2 things, its a great game (and it was).
BUT, not compared to FF X

I enjoyed it...X was one of my favorite games, so seeing how some more of the story played out was fun. The combat was interesting and the class system was kind of cool.
Plus when you use the Cat Nip/Crystal Bangle/Trigger Happy combo to do 10-12 quad 9's per round, the shit gets crazy.

A little too much "Girl Power" for me. Not that Girl Power is a bad thing, but large quantities of it generally drives me away. (Aside from everything, Rikku is still a badass.)
It took all that X was and screwed it over. X-2 could be an ok game, but not within a thousand miles from X.
(By the way X-2 the Threat was fun, strange and difficult to learn, but fun.)

The skimpy clothing is somewhat[/i] justified, though, considering the environments the game takes place in. That's why they had such odd clothes in X to begin with.
well the story was a bit half arsed, but decent. I didnt really mind the really girly noes in the game. But what it really makes it stand out for me is the character progression system and battle system. I like how they combined lvling with advancing the dresspheres, and the fast paced, tactical battles where a lot of fun, definitely best incarnation of the ATB system. I play it every now and then just to have fun with the battles, it's got the best gameplay out of any FF i've played (from FF7 and up, exept FF11). I guess a lot of the hate comes from the really girly overtones and the j-pop stuff, but meh.
Insecurity has nothing to do with the intense vomiting due to seeing FFX reduced (and I wasn't even a a huge fan of X) to giggling, airheaded, teen-princess popstar story, with a world where high tension between different ideological groups at its worst results in horrible, horrible yelling, "dullwings" level of jokes and Charlies Angels esque (only more cheesy) atmosphere.JediMB said:
