X-box hard drive: Help needed

Writing my wish list for this year and sit hoping a Christmas miracel can solve my storage issue on my X-box. But can I just wish for a better x-box hardrive and then install it myself, or must I hand in my x-box somewhere to get an upgrade or what?

Xbox hard drive? It's sitting attached to the top of your Xbox, you can just take it off and get a new one.

If you have one of the older X Boxes, it's external and just sitting on top/stuck onto the side of your X Box. If you have one of those new, X Box 360 S things, it's internal, but still removable. Either way, you can buy a new hard drive separate and easily change them out yourself.
